While some customers say it’s worth the money, others consider it overpriced. The functionality receives mixed feedback, with some saying it works well while others find it works slowly. Exactly what I needed!
Great product! I had a few extensions to remove, and was super easy and quick!

K-tip disaster – this saved me
I had extremely grown out, matted K-tip extensions that I couldn’t afford a salon to remove. I used this product at home with some hair pliers and wow— I managed to get out every last K-tip (probably 10, mostly larger ones). The bond remover didn’t smell much, worked well to dissolve the K-tip glue, and overall was super easy to use. Definitely get hair pliers with this product as it will not remove K-tips from your hair without it to crack them open. This product was a lifesaver.

Disappointed
This product did not work on my Ktip extensions. I tried numerous ways from saturating with cotton ball and using the pliers to saturating and rolling the bond like my hair stylist does. Not a single extension came out with this bond remover. Very disappointing.

Fantastic Product but you need the pliers as well.
This is the BEST keratin extension remover! I got my first set of Hairdreams extensions installed almost 4 months ago. I paid over a thousand dollars for them, including the labor. I was never told that I would also have to go back to the salon to have them removed when it was time. I’d only ever had tape-in extensions at that time. Well, I called up the same salon the other day to make an appointment to have them removed. I just so happened to ask if there was a charge for this service, yes there is. At the tune of $25.00 every 15 minutes, which means for me and as many extensions that I have, it could take 2 hours to removed all of them. That’s $200.00! No Way! I knew that I had to find a way to get these suckers out of my hair with minimum damage. I watched YouTubes until I thought I knew what I was doing. I first tried to use acetone. Nope, didn’t even soften the keratin in the slightest. I then came here to Amazon to read reviews and see if I could find something stronger. I’m SOOO glad I did.I bought the X10Pro Tools D-Bond Gel remover and the nifty pliers that’s suggested. I paid right around $28.00 for both. I received yesterday and last night, while watching TV, I went to work removing each keratin bond. I would soak a few and then use the pliers to break up the bond. With a little elbow grease and some patience, I was able to remove all of them in under an hour. I was surprised how easy it was. I’m so glad I decided not to give in and pay someone to do this for me. Remember to use those pliers really good to crunch up that bond, all the while, letting the gel remover soak up and loosen it up. One reviewer mentioned that the gel caused her fingers to be really raw. I didn’t have that issue. I didn’t even wear gloves.I hope this review helps. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this remover again, except to remove tape-ins next time… LOL No more keratin extensions for me.

Product worked!
This product actually worked to remove the glue from k tips. I tried several others that said they would work but did not. What a relief to have that out of my hair! Thank you!

so-so
I personally didn’t think this product worked well. I have k-tips and the solution just doesn’t seem to work without multiple applications and having to use the removal tool to work on each extension a lot to try and break it down. Couldn’t even get many off even with multiple applications and careful working.
