Clear Bra is a nearly invisible, “always-on” alternative to bulky and often problematic vinyl front-end protectors. You have to be close to the vehicle, and look hard, to spot this stuff. As with vinyl bras, it offers protection from stone chips, insects, small scratches, and the wear-and-tear sand-blasting effect from years of driving.
VViViD Vinyl Clear Gloss paint protection film is almost invisible over factory paint
Clear self-healing polyurethane film. 7mil thick with self-adhesive glue backing
Ideal to protect factory paint to reduce paint chips, scratches and other physical damage
Increases lifespan of factory paint to keeping its value longer

Customers say

Customers find the paint protection film effective at preventing minor damage and making scratches almost invisible. However, the product receives mixed feedback about its functionality and clarity, with some saying it does what’s advertised while others find it terrible, and some describing it as clear while others say it’s not clear at all. The application process is challenging, with no instructions provided, and customers report issues with adhesion as the product doesn’t stick to paint properly. Moreover, the film is criticized for being brittle, not stretching well, and being too thin, while opinions on value for money are divided between those who find it relatively inexpensive and those who consider it a waste of money.

do not use on curving panes
thick film that will not follow curves at all. this is made for mostly flat panels, definitely not for automobile application unless you’re doing a yugo or similar car with mostly flat panels.this film is absolutely horrendous to use on curves. barely good enough to cover home flat shelving and adhesive is not strong enough when you cover panels so you keep going back over the same spots over and over, and never mind all the air bubbles inclusions.i would return it if i could!

    Give it time
Installed on headlights following resurfacing and cleaning. First headlight I used a Tac spray to align and it came out looking poor after I scratched the surface pressing to hard with felt squeegee. Threw it on the car anyways. Second light I didn’t use the Tac spray and it was way more difficult and some adhesive came off the film when repositioning but not much. Threw them on car anyways. 5 days later, after only sitting in the cool garage, both lights are looking amazing. The scratched and small crinkles have disappeared from both. Only a couple water or air bubbles remain in the respective headlights. The bubbles are from the lack of my experience though. I was amazed at how well they self healed. And they are looking really nice and clear

    Affordable protection. Mid quality
I installed this product on a bicycle with a nice paint job. It installed easily with a heat gun for the contoured areas. It could release the air bubbles from under the film easier. Still left some that couldnt be removed. The transparency qualities of the product are poor. It’s clear but doesn’t show off the paint at all. It’s more of a foggy effect. I have been using the product for some time now on an offroad mountain bike. It is holding up amazing. For cheap protection against chips and scratches this stuff is perfect. I’m going to be buying it again for a dirtbike project. When it wears out on the mtb I’m going to go with a higher quality film to make it look clearer. This product is cheap bud does the job if looks aren’t the main concern like a nicely painted car.

Extra tough to work with. Loved the end result (read review)
I had a sun-damaged colored car wrap to begin with with discoloration starting with black dots here and there. The technique I used to put this clear wrap on my car was the same the I used to put the colored wrap. Basically, just like a sticker and heat stretch where needed. It left 100’s of bubbles on my hood. Bubble size was up to a nickel in size. So, since it was sooooooooo tough to just get it to fit on the car because it does not stretch well, I decided to work the bubbles by popping each one and pressing it down. This worked pretty good. The end result is that this gloss really makes my old wrap look pretty amazing. Like almost new. Love the gloss.

    Vivid Paint Protection Film
This item arrived intact no damages. Applied it on the side skirt of my SRT8 Jeep to prevent paint chips. The film adhesion is very sticky and when heated stretched as it should. The thickness is evident when applied. No issues with this product.

    Nearly impossible to use
Nearly impossible to put on vehicle surface for rock chip protection. If you’re thinking of buying this product, just go throw your money in the garbage

Unimpressed. It does not remain clear, residue remains underneath and does not go away. Solid color vivid vinyl is okay, but clear film is junk. Spend the money, get quality 3M or XPEL.

Do not buy … waste of money. When readjusted, the adhesive started to change colour. It looked like there were smudges under the film. Wish I could return it but I already cut it to size and tried to apply.

Easy to break through. No stronger than vinyl wrap. Is not a proper ppf clear bra. Terrible to work with and difficult to apply. Easy to puncture with keys. DO NOT BUY
