5 stars, with modified use
I bought these in order to get a more defined line when doing my eye makeup, and they get the job done well, but I use them in a slightly different way. First, these are huge, so I cut them in half and use half on each eye. I don’t have an issue with shadow falling onto my cheeks, I just want the definition at the outer edges of my lids. Second, the adhesive on these is quite sticky, and can leave a sticky residue when removed. When you peel off the top portion of the backing paper, a larger than needed area of adhesive is exposed. To counter this, I remove the backing and reapply it slightly lower, leaving only a few millimeters of adhesive exposed. This way, the shield is sufficiently held in place, but I am not taking off a big stripe of my foundation or getting a big sticky residue on my face once they’re removed. These definitely work well and have made my makeup look better, but with these slight modifications to how I use them. I will purchase again when needed.

Prevents Make-up Residue- But pulls skin
Like many of the other shields, this one prevents residue but the adhesive is too strong. It pulls your delicate eye skin. They need to make the stickiness more like a post it note.

I have a tendency to get shimmery eyeshadow all over my face and end up looking like a twilight vampire. I’ve seen people use these in make up videos and decided to give them a chance. Several individual packs come in a box and there are like 3 pairs or so per pack Packaged well. The directions say to remove the top backing, stick under eye, apply eyeshadow, and then remove the pad. Easy enough.I removed the top backing. I stuck the shield under my eye. I did the same for the left eye. I put on some eyeshadow. Seems pretty legit. Time to remove the pad. OMG this adhesive is AMAZING. I was hoping for more of a “sticky note” type adhesive. No. This is more gorilla tape. I’ve removed band-aids easier. So much pain. The skin under the eye is so thin. My eye was red for the rest of the day. I’m fairly certain I lost a layer or two of skin. I almost went the day with the shields permanently affixed to my face just to avoid having to keep pulling. I haven’t used them again since.There was no eyeshadow on my face though. So 3 stars!

I thought these worked great! I love that they aren’t that sticky after you stick it onto the back of your hand, but that it still sticks well enough to not worry about it falling off. They are super soft, almost reminds me of medical grade bandages. Super easy to use and if you forget to stick it to the back of your hand it still removes well with no makeup attached to the sticky part <3. I would definitely buy again! The quality is definitely there!

Don’t waste your money!
This product was one of the worst things I ever bought on Amazon!When I tried to remove the strips from under my eyes there was so much glue that it stuck on my skin and I had to exfoliate to remove it!I can’t believe Amazon even wants me to return them for a refund! Don’t waste your money!

Worked well, easy to use
These worked exactly as described. I have been using scotch tape as a guide but was having a hard time making a space for liner under my eye that ended smoothly. As others suggested, I cut these in half. I also placed them on my palms and removed them a few times to make them slightly less sticky and I had no issues getting them to stick nor removing them.
