Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask, 8.11 Ounce

This stuff is amazing!!
I used this for the first time in my shower this morning and I gotta say…I am pleasantly surprised! I have very fine hair, but a LOT of it—products and masks tend to weigh everything down or they just don’t do anything that I hoped they would. Constant disappointment. I don’t have a lot of damage, heat or otherwise but ughhh…the FRIZZ.My hair isn’t straight either, I do have a wave patterns as seen in the before pic, (still trying to find the right products and routine for my waves) but it’s sooooo difficult for me to find anything that takes that frizz and dryness away while—as I said above—not weighing my hair down at the same time.With this mask I shampooed, and used JUST the mask after wringing out a lot of excess water. Combed it through gently while wet. NO regular conditioner after. Left on for 5 mins and rinsed well. Dried it with a t shirt and then added a little bit of leave-in conditioner (Mizani Moisture Milk) mixed with water for some hydration-oomph because I know without it, I’d be lost 😆 Blow dried it about 70% of the way and then switched to the cool air setting. Slapped some hair serum on and let it dry the rest of the way. And after brushing it out the magic happened.I’ve never seen my hair so soft and shiny. Granted, because of the way I timidly didn’t want to throw a bunch of wave product in my hair after the mask, the pattern was lost BUT that’s honestly fine by me with moisture and softness like this. I honestly think for $14 this is a miracle product. Now I understand why I kept seeing it everywhere!! I think next time I’ll experiment with some more wave product and see what happens.The smell is honestly like…fine, in my opinion, and once it’s used and rinsed out it isn’t overwhelming, even when it’s dry.All in all, I think if you have fine hair, dense or otherwise it’s worth a shot to see how your own hair type and pattern react to it. And as I’m sure we all know, sometimes hair stuff is a looooot of trial and error before we find the right mix and order of application…but for 14 bucks I’d say it’s absolutely worth it to add this to your hair arsenal. 🙂

LOVELY on fine, low porosity, low density hair!
I tried this product because my hair has been pretty frizzy and dull lately. I have fine, low porosity, low density hair which means that it is Very easily weighed down but can also be hard to get balanced hydration. I will also note, I tend to have a slightly oily scalp (day 2 or 3 is when it gets oily) but my ends are somewhat dry and get small knots.SmellI found the smell to be somewhat cheap smelling like those 2000’s “salon quality” hair conditioners but luckily the smell wasn’t too strong for me. I’m especially happy that the smell doesn’t last after your hair driesUsageI used this by1. shampooing my hair twice with my Prose shampoo2. towel drying my hair3. applying mask generously and letting it set for 25 mins4. rinsing out5. wrapping my hair up in a hair towel for 15 mins then taking it out to brush it and then let it air dry6. once fully dried, applying a VERY small amount of suavecita pomade and brushing my hair outResultsI love the results of this! I’m really shocked they’re able to provide these ingredients at the $15.99 price I paid for this. this is a luxury-level formulationIngredients That May Require Caution1. fragrance can be irritating to some if you have sensitive skin or a sensitive sense of smell2. phenoxyethanol is a preservative that can sometimes be irritating to people with sensitive skin3. ethanol is an ingredient designed to evaporate off quickly to give a lightweight feel but may be drying to some people (I doubt it in this ingredient list since it’s a moisturizing product)4. Citric acid is a PH controlling ingredient that some people with sensitive skin may find irritating in some cases5. Dimethicone is a silicone that has a reputation of building up on hair and being heavy but it shouldn’t be an issue in this product since they use a grade of dimethicone that is REALLY lightweightConclusionThis product is insanely amazing and I am still so shocked at this luxurious formula. Japan is really bringing us yet another amazing product and it shows with this innovative formulation. I HIGHLY recommend.

Hair smooth and shine, no frizz
This is honestly the best thing I’ve ever gotten! I initially thought it was just some marketing gimmick, but it really does what it promises. My hair looks shiny, smooth, and even with the bad water quality in my city, it has made a huge difference. I only use it after shampooing and haven’t tried any treatments yet, but even just this simple step is worth every penny!

Omg wow this hair mask is amazing. After using Amika and achieving nothing I bought fino to try and wow I found out! It really is great and keeps hair smelling fresh !!

Me he llevado una gran sorpresa. Uso otros productos de shiseido y la compré por la confianza en la marca y las buenas opiniones. No defrauda. Tengo el pelo muy seco y uso bastante plancha. Desde el primer uso, hidrata mucho el pelo y lo deja brillante con efecto seda. El olor no me encanta, pero no huele mal. Sin duda de lo mejor que he probado en mascarillas.
