My fave
This is the best body scrub I have ever used. It looks dry in the container but it turns to the perfect consistency when it gets wet. Not oily at all and smells lovely.

Have Been Using Twice Weekly Religiously For Years
If you live in a dry, dusty, desert climate, this is a must for your beauty/self-care routine. Highly recommend pairing it with the body oil before sealing in with your daily body lotion.TL;DR-Over 40 and still get carded not just due to my face, but glowing/youthful skin in general.

New formula is atrocious
They changed the formula and it’s actually terrible. The color is synthetically pink I should’ve known it was going to be trash by that but then I wanted to give it a chance. Nope! The consistency is terrible before it was actually sugar I don’t known WHAT this crap is. The way it goes onto the body is super different it’s almost soapy. The smell is terrible it has almost a plasticey smell and worst of all!!! It didn’t even leave my skin feeling good like the previous formula. Never again and actually I want my money back. They need to change back to the original formula

Didn’t bother my sensitive skin. Good balance of cleansing and exfoliating.
SheaMoisture Shea Sugar Body Scrub For Glowing Radiance Coconut Hibiscus Glowing Radiance Body Scrub With 24h Shea Moisture Nutrients 12 ozI love a good body scrub but this Shea Moisture scrub is a new one to me. I liked the highlighted ingredients right away; Shea butter, Coconut Oil, Hibiscus Flower and Vitamin C, so I ordered to test it out. This is a standard scrub size tub at 12oz. It comes sealed and has a very sweet fragrance. The texture is more soapy than oily and that’s a big one for me, I find the slippery texture of the really oily ones unnerving. This scrub has a good amount of fine grit, thanks to the sugar, and you feel like it’s cleansing while scrubbing instead of just smearing oil on your wet skin. The mix was a medium density, easy enough to scoop a blob out and not so runny that you drip half of it down the drain.I have sensitive skin, in particular fragrances usually bother me. Some can cause itchy red splotches on my skin and others make me break out in tiny red bumps. So to start I used this only on my feet, to see how my skin reacted. The scrub felt great, I felt like I was getting good exfoliation but nothing too rough. I used it three times on my feet and I noticed my heels feeling less rough after the second use. I’ve been trying to get my feet ready for sandal season with a good scrubbing stone and some thick moisturizing cream before bed. Adding this scrub to my routine has definitely helped remove some dull, rough skin.I had no reaction to this scrub, no itchy feet or red splotches. After a few uses I tried this scrub on my arms and legs, and again I liked the gentle exfoliation for the more sensitive areas of skin where I tend to get irritated like behind my knees or the insides of my arms. Sometimes with salt or even some of the very dense sugars I find it too rough, but this one is a good texture. I think for skin, more frequent but gentle exfoliation is better than trying to sandblast a layer of skin off all at once. I think this scrub hits that mark that’s inline with that thinking, so it feels like a healthy balance for skin care, especially if you have sensitive skin.I will keep using this scrub. I try to exfoliate two or three times a week and this is definitely a scrub that I enjoyed using for both it’s gentle formula and that I saw results with it. I should also mention I had no issues with dry, tight skin after using and while I do use a moisturizer after I shower, I haven’t had any issues with my dry skin since adding this scrub to my shower routine. I think the quality for the value is fair, it’s very similar in price to what I usually order and I think a worthwhile product.

New formula – good but no longer great
The new Coconut & Hibiscus Glowing Radiance scrub seems to have replaced the previous Coconut & Hibiscus Illuminating formula, which was an excellent product. While this new scrub smells nice, and definitely provides shea butter moisturizing, the texture of the product is very different, and feels like an exfoliating but soapy body wash – something that is readily available from other brands, and potentially at lower cost. I wish Shea Moisture would bring the Illuminating formula back.

Great exfoliation!
I really loved this coconut hibiscus sugar scrub! I have had Shea moisture products before and loved them. I have actually had the hibiscus sent in a hair mask, so I knew I would love this scent. I was right about that, as the scent is tropical and floral at the same time! It smelled really good. I enjoyed the exfoliation power of the sugar in the scrub. There also seemed to be plenty of oil for moisture. The scrub was easy to use, and it came in a big tub. I put some of the scrub on an exfoliation mitt and completely transformed my skin! I followed up with a good moisturizer after my bath. I think a lot of people would really love this sugar scrub as a gift! This is a great option if you are looking for a good product for exfoliation. Highly recommend!

Buttery soft scrub with a fruity scent
This SheaMoisture Shea Sugar Body Scrub has a pleasant fruity scent. It has both sugar (sucrose) and salt (Sodium Chloride) and is a buttery soft scrub which feels nice. It cleans and leaves my skin moisturized. It doesn’t feel oily. I do like oily scrubs for my hands, but this type works better in the bath. Nice product. Recommend.
