Great quality product with natural ingredients! Easy to dispense, goes on smooth!
I use this moisturizer in the warmer months mainly. It is very silky smooth and spreads nicely on my face. It barely has a scent if at all, which is good for people with sensitive skin. It absorbs nicely too. I think it is a quality product with natural ingredients and I’ve been using it for several years now. Just bought two more! I also like that they recently converted the thickness and consistency of this product to be lighter and easier to spread. It’s definitely in between a lotion and cream. Just perfect! It dispenses wonderfully too.

Shea Moisture lotion with a wonderul smell.
This lotion is great. The only problem is if it gets too cold it turns to hard coconut oil. It is impossible to squirt any out.Just warm it in water and when it becomes a solution just shake until well mixed and them it will work fine.Very smooth creamy lotion

Great, natural ingredients but scent too strong
I bought this because it contains “clean” ingredients and I use this brand’s shampoo and conditioner, which are great. However, it was initially too thick to pump from container, though now that I have used about 1/4 of the bottle it pumps just fine. Great consistency on hands, very moisturizing. However I doubt I will purchase again because I find the scent much too strong. If it came unscented, or less scented, would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent lotion. It feels like a silky body butter, hydrates really well, and leaves my skin very soft. I have sensitive skin, and this doesn’t bother me at all. It’s got a light scent of natural coconut.My only complaint is that it’s too thick to pump, but I am not taking away any stars for that because the lotion itself is so good. I took a squeeze top off of a different lotion bottle, and that worked much better.

Good Product, but Wrong Type of the Packaging.
It is a good product . Very good moisturizer and light pleasant smell. Quickly absorbed. However, it is very thick and should be sold either in a tube or jar packaging. It is impossible to pump out of the bottle.

The New Formula is Terrible
I will say I am not one to write reviews. I have been buying this lotion for years (and have been a Shea Moisture lover for at least 10 years), and it has been fantastic. The old formula lotion didn’t irritate my skin and locked in moisture on my severely sensitive skin. The new formula is absolutely awful. It smells like cheap Macy’s perfume, is watery, and caused my skin to have serious irritations. I also noticed that they changed the formula of the Smoothie Curl Cream. Do not buy this lotion with the new formula.

Buyer beware!Don’t buy this product in the pump bottle! I have no idea why they are even selling this in the pump bottle! It is solid thickness and the pump straw does not automatically refill for pumping! Each time the pump straw empties you have to remove the pump and reposition it several times in order to get the straw full enough pump. Sometimes that doesn’t even work! I ended up literally cutting the pump bottle in half and taking the cream out and spooning it into another container in order to be able to use it. If I hadn’t done that there’s no way I would have been able to use the contents of the bottle. I am so confused and annoyed about the way they bottled this lotion! Anyone inspecting this product after it’s bottled would know instantly that this is not a good way to disperse this lotion. I know she’s is thick, but when I saw it in a pump bottle I assumed it was in a smooth pumpable lotion form. It should only be sold in a jar because of the level of thickness. I like the lotion, but what good is it if I can’t use it the way it’s bottled and I shouldn’t even have to cut the bottle open and put it into another container in order to use it. The one star is for the lotion. The way it’s bottled is 4 thumbs down!

I bought this lotion at the store. I used the whole bottle – then looked for it on Amazon.I think it cost less in the store than on Amazon. If I recall, in store, I got it for about $7.99A few things about this – I like natural lotion for my face – not the typical specific face products that are often full of lots of chemicals. I have mostly, never used ‘face product’ face care but rather choose things like super simple lotion and washes like Cetaphil.I like to use actual pure coconut oil on my face – except for the oil aspect of being all oily and getting my hair around my face oily. It works great, but a light coconut oil based lotion is better for daily use.This lotion, is nice and light.There is one odd thing – it isn’t bad – just interesting. When I first got it – it kind of gave me a ‘burning/tingling’ feeling but did not bother my skin at all.After a couple of days of use, I did not at all feel the burning feeling and it did not negatively affect my skin in any way. I think it has positive results on my skin.When I ran out of my first bottle – and had to use something else for about 2-3 weeks until I remembered to get another bottle – again – the first couple days of use, it felt like a slight burn/tingle. Then – no more.I don’t know why it does that – I almost think it is the natural cleansing aspects of coconut oil because – it seems to make my skin more clear and healthy.Anyhow – I really like this for me for face lotion.I decided to set it up on Subscribe and Save – IF THE PRICE GOES UP WITH SUBSCRIBE – I WILL CANCEL IT.Oh – and the pump – if it doesn’t work fantastic, give the bottle a little squeeze while you are depressing the pump and it comes out fine.Also ~ It is hard to get all of the lotion out when it is almost empty. I used a qtip to get some more out when I didn’t have a new bottle to use.All in all – I really like this lotion for my daily face lotion.

Me encantó la consistencia, el olor, el color y la presentación. Es una crema ligera, perfecta para pieles grasas. Puede ser complementada con algún serum. Mi piel es bastante grasa con tendencia a seca en los extremos del rostro y ha humectado todo muy bien 😉

The site shows a bottle with nozzle but the ones delivered to me do not. This cap is not suitable for the lotion as it is not easy to squeeze out the lotion with this kind of cap.
