My husband loves this shaving stuff! He says it gives him a super close shave without irritating his skin. The scent is nice and subtle, not overpowering like some others. It lathers up really well and a little goes a long way. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Very sharp razors!
I know this sounds crazy, but being used to disposable razors; the first shave was rough! However , the beard, oil, balm and cream are great with a nice smell. Would definitely recommend and will continue with my learning curve on shaving.

Great shaving kit but pick up a different razor.
I’ve been using this kit for going on 3 months now, my personal favorite thing in it is the brush followed by the aftershave balm. Everything in the kit works great and smells great but I haven’t really used the apron and I use a different razor from the included one, I did test the included straight razor but the included blades are rather cheap and flimsy and I kept worrying they were going to break and cut me. I’ve finished off the shaving cream that came with it and while it smelled and worked great I did notice that unlike most shaving cream it tended to harden (even with a bit of water added) quickly after use so it would dry quickly in the sink and need to be scrubbed out simply running water over it wasn’t enough, I don’t recommend using that cream with multi-bladed razors as it will harden between the blades and basically ruin their life-span, it works great with straight razors though. I haven’t gotten a ton of use out of the pre-shave beard oil because of how frequently I shaved but the few times I have it smelled great and worked well. I bought the exact same kit for my nephew when I got it and I have to say it’s a great kit and a good price.

Starter kit
This is my first venture into using a safety razor. Like many of the other reviews, I too found the shaving bowl too small. Also the supplied razors work but, so feel like they grab the hair.I personally like the pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and after shave lotion. The sandalwood scent is subtle (the wife on the other hand, does not like it and it actually causes her to sneeze when I’m near).I haven’t used the beard hair apron since my bathroom mirror is small and I can’t attach it anywhere.The razor itself, feels nice in the hand. See my first paragraph for thoughts on the blades.For the price, it’s a good starter.If your like me and new to this type of shaving, take your time!! Watch a bunch of videos to properly shave and reduce nicks.
