I bought the 4-mini discovery set. These deodorants have been working really well for me. Much better than some of the “clean” deodorants I’ve tried recently (Schmidt’s, native, lume). With most other deodorants, I can smell myself the next day before my shower and that never happens with these. Great protection. I like that it doesn’t have aluminum and other common additives. It’s been easy on my skin and I haven’t noticed residue. It’s at least twice as expensive as many clean deodorants and I feel like the draw is the fabulous scents. So let’s talk about the scents!Santal and Vetiver – I really like this one when it first goes on. The Vetiver note seemed to fade and I am less fond of the Santal/Sandalwood note on its own. It ends up being just too woody for me.Bergamot & Hinoki – This is nice. Very Bergamot, though the Hinoki and supporting scents balances it nicely.Neroli & Basil – This one is my favorite. Its very clean and fresh. I hope Salt and Stone continues to develop this scent into their other products.Black Rose and Oud – This is the sweetest of the four. I’m usually not one for florals, but it’s a more earth rose type of scent (think rosehip) than the typical sweet a floral.

Wonderful, but also couldn’t stand up to the funk
This was my first time using this brand and I used it faithfully for about 9 months.I’ve been using more natural and aluminum-free deodorants for several years now. I have sensitive underarms so I stay away from “clinical strength” or a lot of chemicals. I’ve tried both ladies’ and men’s brands (I’m a woman) and they only seem to work for a little while before they completely stop working and I have to switch to something new (or back to an old one). I decided to give this one a try after seeing it pop up on Amazon a lot and also because the one I was using isn’t sold in stores and would sometimes take a week or more to get to me.My first impression of this deodorant was that I like the compact, round packaging and how easy it is to use (the bottom twists very smoothly). Secondly, IT SMELLS AMAZING. Black rose and Oud is such a delicious scent – lightly floral, sweet, a little powdery, and a little musky. Every time I applied it, I kept falling more in love with the scent. And it also applied to my underarms very smoothly and without any pulling or roughness.It’s worth noting that I started using this deodorant during a heat wave; we had about three weeks of temperatures between 90-100 degrees F with 75-95% humidity. Surprise surprise, this deodorant held up! Mind you, it’s deodorant and not antiperspirant, so, yes, I did sweat, but, no, I did not smell. I applied it once a day (or the night before) and had no issues. This deodorant also held up exceptionally when I was exercising and it did not leave me smelling bad at all after workouts.Now, where this deodorant DID NOT HOLD UP is when it came to hormone changes and (emotional) stress. Whenever that time of the month came around, the deodorant significantly weakened and I had to apply it again during the day. For me, that’s actually normal and I pretty much have that happen with any deodorant. It’s performance during stress was pretty terrible though. I went through a few months of intense mental/emotional stress and this deodorant completely failed me. The second I got anxious or stressed out, my armpits would start to pool and turn into a swampy mess and I would immediately smell terrible. Not once did the deodorant hold up to my stress sweat or funk, which was very disappointing since I liked it very much outside of that one issue.I ended up just throwing it away (since I wasn’t sure when the stress would stop) and going back to my previous deodorant that worked wonderfully, now sells on Amazon, and I highly recommend: Kosas! It is pricey like this one, but the main selling point for me is that it contains AHA and BHAs that stop the funk and also brighten (and keep bright) the underarm area. It also neutralizes razor burn.

Great scent, but oils are leak out of the container it’s in
This does smell amazing, very spa like. I also bought the body wash, perfume and body lotion. However the deodorant leaks. I guess it’s the fragrance oils, but it leaked after I took it in my toiletries bag on a trip. I put it in a plastic zippy. I took it out when I got home, wiped it off, all my other items had oil all over. Thank goodness I love the smell. However, each time I grab to use it from my bathroom cabinet now, there is scented oil around the bottom area that you turn to make it go up, and it gets all over my hands, and wonder if it is going to go bad before I use it up?Has anyone else has had this issue?

smells so good and lasts. seriously incredible product worth the money. first time wearing it worked out for 3 hours still smells fresh like I just put it on. goes on nice and smooth, doesn’t leave a bunch of white residue or balled up product. just melts into ur skin. couldn’t recommend it enough. especially as a natural deodorant, packaging is super cute. buy it.

Was worried about these being too feminine. But I love the basil smell, I have tried the cedarwood (which is OK, but makes me smell a bit like an old man), and I have tried another pink one (orange/blossom I think, this one was terrible IMO, at least for a man). But this one is by far my favourite. None of the Salt & Stone deodorants have irratated my arm pits, would recommend this scent if you are unsure of which one to get (for men at least).

Smells amazing, holds the underarms smell and perspiration great. Leaves “fatty” marks on clothes. Literally had to use it with sports clothes and not fancy shirts not to risk them. Is removable during normal machine wash, didn’t risk it with the clothes required dry clean.

Bought this for how it looked and didn’t expect much but thought “what the hell”.Have to say was very pleasantly surprised. Lasts a long time, even if you sweat a lot, will block the smell all day. The smell itself is very pleasant and exactly like Santal. Does not cause any skin or irritation issues.1 thing to keep in mind is that it will leave marks on dark clothes. Otherwise, great product
