Love the color. A small dot spreads over your entire lid. Mallo Coast is a beautiful color. Love the metal tube. Doesn’t crease or smear.

This shade is so pretty! I thought it would be too WHOA-purple, but it’s lovely, almost a neutral on me. I love how it brightens my eyes. And it lasts pretty long too, and I have very oily eyelids.

Did not apply as expected
I tried applying this several ways (brush, fingertip, with primer, without primer, etc.) and it was never smooth or even and seemed cake-like or ‘broken’. The analogy would be broken like a sauce. Perhaps it was past expiration? I didn’t see any expiration dates on the tube and unfortunately had thrown out the box. I was very disappointed.

I love this shadow
This is a beautiful shadow. I put it on and it looks gorgeous on and stays put. The color is soft but not flat. When using these shadows one must remember not to put anything else on your lid, no other creams or powders. Apply it to a clean, bare lid. It will go on beautifully and stay put. I also recommend the new eye shade brush to use with any of the shadows. This company has wonderful products.

An easy and simple to use cream matte eyeshadow.
The RMS Cashmere Matte Eyelight in Mallo Coast immediately caught my eye out of all of the shades. I ordered this because I love one and done type products and I had a feeling I would love it on makeup no-makeup looks. This shade looks super rosy and reminds me of one I had by another brand years ago. I love pink eyeshadow of all kinds so I knew this couldn’t fail me. The Eyelight are kept in foil tubes so you are supposed to roll it to get all the product out eventually. I actually saw a video for the shimmer Eyelights and they supposedly came with keys to help you roll but I don’t know if they stopped doing that and that is why mine didn’t come with one. Either way, I did research and saw that you can use a brush or your finger to apply it and I just dove in with my finger and was completely shocked to find that this wasn’t the rosy hue I expected. It is actually the exact shade of my eyelids! So basically I can’t use it the way I wanted because it literally looks like I have nothing on. I have to put concealer and foundation on my face (including my eyelids) so that my skin is all one color and the shade looks much rosier against an even canvas. I was a little disappointed by that. In my research, I did see that the shimmer Eyelights seem to do well paired together with the matte Eyelights. With the matte all over the lid and under, a little bit of a shimmery shade on the lid looks gorgeous. I haven’t noticed creasing, I wore this for hours yesterday and I can see how someone with mature skin would love this. It could be great just for someone trying to cover up any hyperpigmention or scars. It is easy to put on, it dries quickly and there are plenty of colors to choose from the matte and shimmer Eyelights lines. I definitely see how it would appeal to many people. However, it is a luxury brand so the price of $29 is a bit much, especially if you do want to get shimmer shades to match your matte shades. But I can see each tube lasting a long time because a little bit goes a really long way. Overall, I think it’s great but I recommend trying to see swatches first so you don’t end up in like me.

Not sure if I got an old batch but it went on and flaked immediately. Almost like when you are using a pencil eraser and it leaves the eraser debris.Anyone els have this problem???

Mountain mist might be the perfect contour shade for pale skin except the formula dries really fast so i usually mix up with something more fluid (i also have the shimmer shades). I don’t know why rms left Sephora and Shoppers (only online now) because the products are a lot better than some of the hype brands.
