The Red Devil Multi-purpose Spray Tack is transparent and pressure sensitive. It provides instant tack with low soak-in, is repositionable and has a web-spray pattern for better coverage. This product has a high “green” strength and will not degrade the substrate if sprayed from a distance of 12-15 inches. Especially recommended for bonding polyethylene film to drywall, brick, and concrete blocks. Specially formulated to bond foam-to-foam, as well as foam-to-fabric, wood, particle board, cardboard, metal and fiberglass.

This is fantastic contractor grade adhesive!
Please ignore the people writing bad reviews trying to use this for “crafts.” They have no business ordering this. This is not for those purposes. The bubbling and webbing is exactly what it is designed to do and how you get the right adhesion for quality and true sealing in construction and contractor situations. We use this in crawlspace applications where we need true performance and value! It works fantastically and in our line of work a real seal matters. We do radon mitigation and air tight mean air tight. It sounds like people just don’t know how to use this type of adhesive. We have recommended to other professionals in our industry and they all love it just as much. It saves time, and is reliable.

Subpar for mounting thin paper onto foam core
As a trained architect and designer who has used many a times the 3M product line for spray mounts, even Gorilla Glue spray mounts, I would say that the Red Devil is a little disappointing. I was not expecting that it would come out of the spray can like “spiderman” goo. the product also damaged the paper we had plotted (simple cropped laser printer paper), that we were mounting for an exhibition. I would suggest that if 3M is 4/5, that this product is subpar, and should be overall 2.5/5. Hope others have a better experience than I did.
