Customers say
Customers find the eye cream truly moisturizing and effective, with one noting it helped heal within two weeks. Moreover, the product receives positive feedback for its softness, particularly for sensitive skin, and is best used at night. However, customers disagree on the cream’s thickness, with some finding it too thick to apply under the eyes. Additionally, they report mixed experiences with irritation and value for money, with some finding it not worth the price. The ease of application also divides opinions between those who find it easy to apply and those who find it difficult.

Great for sensitive skin and eyelid eczema!!!!
I was hesitant to purchase because of the other reviews, but I’m so glad I did. I have very sensitive skin/eczema, especially around my eyes. Eyelid eczema is no joke, it’s painful and miserable, and a lot of anti-aging products make it worse, especially eye creams because sooo many of them have fragrance. Not this one! No irritation, at all, and my eyelid eczema has completely cleared up. I will never be without this now. I can see how people with oily skin wouldn’t like this product since it is a very thick cream. Despite being so thick it has always absorbed very quickly for me. For dry and sensitive skin, I say go for it. I purchased the sample size to see how I liked it before purchasing the full size. The sample size will actually last quite a while, (at least a month, maybe two) a little goes a long ways.

Very moisturing
This product is very thick and moisturizing. I find it smooths the eye area after it has time to settle and makes makeup go on smoothly.

Too thick
I did a LOT of research before buying and Paula’s Choice always comes up as a top brand. Very expensive but I thought the ingredients looked good so it must be a worth it. However, I was really surprised at how thick this cream is. It does not glide on easily, it’s actually difficult to apply and I end up having to push and pull that delicate under-eye skin to spread this around and they always say not to do that. If you’ve ever used a Shea butter lotion, think about that thickness in an eye cream. Maybe others like that texture, but it’s not for me.

Effective for Moisturizing
As other’s have mentioned, this is a thick cream. That being said, I have no problem patting it under my eyes as directed and it absorbing. I have hereditary dark circles and have not noticed a difference in them, but there is really no product that will make those disappear. My under eye area is smother appearing and my crows feet appear softer now due to being moisturized. I only use this at night as I have found it to be too emollient for use during the day and it does not play well under makeup resulting in concealer sliding off.

Great for skin around eyes but also for eyes
I have used this for years before bedtime and it’s completely solved dry eyes as well as being a lovely PM eye product. It IS quite a thick cream as others have commented, but three seconds of rubbing between fingers, and it spreads and is absorbed easily. I have older, dry skin and live in a dry environment half the year and it’s really been perfect. I also have extremely sensitive skin and no irritation whatsoever. I’m not sure it’s worth the $ compared to a drug store brand but the eye comfort along is worth the price.

Thick and Lasting Hydration
Very thick but easy to apply by warming up between fingers and tapping instead of rubbing. Great for dry skin around the eye. Based on other reviews, I use with Boost oil which is also great. Better results than many other products including much more expensive eye treatments from Estee Lauder. If you live in a dry environment, give it a try. I’m more than two months into the first tube and there is still plenty.Update: I’ve had two other tubes, the formula seems creamier. Also a hint : cut open the tube when it’s done and you’ll find more cream.

PAT it on & feel the moisture
repeat buy for me. It’s expensive which sucks BUT it lasts several months so it’s actually a great value. It is very thick. I shake the tube 1st to ensure that the ingredients mix together then I put just a tiny dot on my hand. I then pat the cream onto the eye area. It does not spread as it is very thick so you have to pat it on. It makes the skin feel so soft and moisturized, I swear I’ve seen my fine lines get smaller too.
