    Early Spring in a bottle
    This will sound terrible but when I was a child in the 70s and early 80s, toilet paper was scented. It was a soft, powdery, floral scent. Comparable to dryer sheets of today.Cabotine reminds me of that scent but with musk and citrus notes. It’s a sweet, powdery, musky floral that many would call old-fashioned or for a grandma. Older women will likely get a sense of nostalgia for the 70s smelling this little beauty.It’s difficult to distinguish notes in this composition. Sometimes I’ll pick up a bit of cedar then a hint of ginger. Honestly, the blend is quite nice. For such a soft scent it’s strong and long lasting. It borders on being too sweet but is held back because of the civet and more bitter notes. It has nothing on today’s fruity, bakery gourmands though.The price is ridiculously low. If you are into vintage, powdery scents then this would be one to try. It’s very much a Spring fragrance and IMO, captures a dewy, sunny, spring morning in a bottle.

    Cobotine is a clean fresh sent I think of it as a warmer weather scent I get compliments on it when I wear it and I have been wearing it for over 25 years and it is affordable compared to some scents

    J’en ai commandé deux, un pour offrir à ma mère qui est ravie et qui l’adore comme moi.Je précise que l’envoi a été fait avec professionnalisme par le vendeur afin que l’emballage des parfums ne s’écrase pas, certes l’envoi a été plus long ( mais pas comme amazon dont les emballages arrivent toujours écrasés )Le parfum est à la fois fleuri et très vert frais.Je reviendrais👍
