Well, the ad on this said it would give me a glow. Heaven knows, we all need to glow!Seriously, I saw this and read all about it, then decided to give it a try. I’m of the older generation and my face needs all the help it can get!I just received this a day or so ago, so I can’t speak to long term results. I can say it feels really good on my face. I’ve decided to use it nightly after my last face washing. Last night after I applied it I noticed my face felt better. Not sure exactly how to quantify that, but I could tell I had applied it. It didn’t feel heavy at all – just made my face feel soothed. It felt quite nice.I do feel like it has a nice hydrating effect. All I had to do was put 4 drops in my hand and rub my hands together to warm it. 4 drops isn’t a lot, so I was surprised that it was enough to cover my whole face. The bottle of this is very small so I’m glad it doesn’t take a lot each time I use it.This gel smells very good. It has a flowery smell, but it’s not overwhelming. So, it not only makes my face feel good, it makes it smell good too!So far, I really like this little bottle of beauty. I don’t know if it will make this old woman glow, but I do know my face likes it. So, we’ll see.I’ve only had the opportunity to use this for 2 nights, so I’m not seeing any big improvement yet. I just know my face feels happy when I apply it.I’m pleased with this facial booster serum. The main ingredients are hemp seed oil and goji seed oil. I’m not sure where the scent comes from, but it’s very nice.I do like this product and plan to continue using it nightly. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll start to glow at some point.This is a wonderful serum and I recommend it.

Not really a ‘serum’.
I ordered the OYU Cosmetics Booster Serum for Face, because I do like a nice serum in lieu of full-on moisturizer some days. This product makes claims of “Anti-Aging and Hydrating”, but the thing is, all skin care items are subjective, unless backed by meticulous photo documentation using the exact same location, lighting, distance, and time intervals. So can anyone say if this truly makes your skin look plumper, or less wrinkled, or younger? Not really.But we can review how the product feels, whether it seems to sink in or is sticky, and a variety of other objective observable parameters.This does not feel like a serum to me, as it is described on the product page. And even the product page’s description calls it a “lightweight gel formula”, which it is not. It feels much more like an oil. The only two ingredients are hemp seed oil, and goji oil.The product page also makes some rather wild, bold, sweeping claims:”Intensive Hydration Fusion: Deeply hydrates, plumps, and revitalizes with hyaluronic acid and botanical extracts. Age-Defying Elixir: Contains antioxidants and anti-aging agents to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. Lightweight, Fast Absorption: Quickly absorbed for effortless integration into daily routines.”It seems like a ton of time went into writing the product’s description, but really it has very little to do with the actual product.However, it is Leaping Bunny verified, which means they submitted the ingredients to LB (an online database of cruelty-free products) and confirmed it is not tested on animals.I think this maybe would be good for someone who has dry skin, or as a night sleeping oil, but for my personal use, I found it to just make my skin too oily to do much else with, and I will most likely use it on my hands rather than my face. I think it also could possibly be mixed with a serum, as a booster, or mixed with a moisturizer, but I’m not a fan of cross-mixing skin care products.I give this a meh/5, and I would not order it again, just because it does not fit into my personal skin care routine, and I wasn’t a real fan of the smell. (Which isn’t overpowering, but they did write in the description that is fragrance-free, which is it most certainly not.)
