I can’t speak for how longwearing the product makes my eyeshadows, as I didn’t perform a wear test.However I tested it against the milk makeup hydrogrip eyeshadow primer which I had also recently purchased, and the difference is ridiculous.I put one swipe of each on my arm and blended it out with the included doe foot applicator for both primers. I gave both primers a few minutes to dry down and then using a cotton swab for fairness, applied a loose pigment (pink) and a pressed shadow (purple, to really test them) to each of the patches where primer was applied. The vibrant swatches on the right are the nyx primer, with the patchy/sheer swatches belonging to milk (except the smaller pink swatch, which was no primer). Doing a gentle rub test, the nyx is also the clear winner, with no transfer and no disturbing of the pigment. Rubbing the milk primer caused it to smear slightly. I didn’t feel any burning or stinging from either primer, but this is on my wrist so ymmv.The only negative possible comment I could make is that this could be drying on the skin, so good for oilier eyelids, but it may be an issue for those with dry or mature skin.Save your money and avoid the milk primer (did nothing for my eyeshadow, but was okay for under eye concealer prep).

It’s good if you intentionally apply it. Must spread out gently or it can get too sticky and less seamless. Once applied correctly, keeps eyeshadow on all day

It’s been working fine so far. My liner does not stick to my upper eyelid anymore. I can post pone an upper eyelid surgery now …lol

Does NOT work for oily/hooded eyelids.
Had high hopes for this but unfortunately it didn’t hold up. I have oily partially hooded eyelids and when I used a longwear pencil it was smudging within 30 minutes.

Excellent coverage and color
This is the first time I have tried this product and very impressed by it. Great coverage, color is natural for me – just a little lighter than my skin tone, and does not feel drying.It really does a great job of keeping shadow in place with no creasing and also helps reduce wrinkles. Another thing I really like about this primer is, if I don’t want to wear eyeshadow, I can use this without it. I find the color brightens my lids while the formula gives them a matte look.This is going to be a permanent item in my cosmetic collection!

What is happening at NYX.? I love their products but lately they have been nothing but trouble ,in quality and the way they are received.I usually like this product but it arrived it was opened with a dirty foot,it had smudges of grey on the foot. I can’t use this on clients as their eyes are their living.I’d get sued if they caught anything.It’s really important that Amazon realises the harm that used products can cause.
