I love everything about this lotion – the smell, the way it melts into my skin and the way it moisturizes. The only very slight drawback is that it is so thick that I need to add a little water to help it out of the bottle!

Great lotion but the smell is not the same.
I have purchased this lotion many, many times before and loved it. However, the recent one I purchased DOES NOT SMELL LIKE THE OTHERS AT ALL! Would like a replacement but I’m not sure if I will receive the one with the scent that I like….. :(Might try to exchange it and take a chance

Thick and creamy
I wanted a body butter, by Nubian, but they didnt have one avail. It is on Amazon, but cant ship for some reason,. Got the shower lotion first, amazing smell. So ordered the body lotion and its really thick like a body butter, kind of hard to get out of container its so thick. Just had to pound it out against a hard surface, but its really creamy thick & nice once you do get it out, its wonderful. Giving it 4 stars only since it should be in a different conrainer.

I love the Nubian heritage raw she body lotion for really dry skin. I put this this on after the lubriderm advance therapy intensely hydrating extra dry skin lotion. its a great lotion to put on first and then the Nubian raw shea butter either raw she butter or patchouli & Buriti body lotion. or both together yet just a little bit at a time dont go over smelling like an over flowered stinky perfume. never abuse perfume or lotions. smelling good is one thing but putting so much perfume or lotions on that are so strong its almost gut wrenching so use lotions, perfume and colognes lightly. well thats enough reviews today I hope Ive helped in some small way good luckI use lubriderm advance therapy intensely hydrating lotion and then use Nubian heritage Body raw shea butter lotion for dry skin. It has a beautiful smell and in the morning before church I rub in the nubian raw tea butter with patchouli and burrito glowing and uplifting body lotion

Love it!!
I live in a very dry state and my skin is always dry and cracking. After using this for several days, my hands are no longer dry. This product uses all non-to toxic ingredients. That was the original reason for my purchase.

FORMULA HAS CHANGED
I’ve had my current bottle for years and I love it, and use it very sparingly. I ordered this bottle to replace it, and the ingredients have changed pretty drastically. The first ingredient in my original bottle is Raw Shea Butter, and it is third in this new bottle. The lotion does not feel the same, is not as thick, and leaves a strange after-smell on your skin that’s a little musty and chemically. They kept the original scent (kinda) but it almost immediately gives way to a strange odour after you apply it. Performs its job as a moisturizer, I suppose, but definitely not like the old product. Wont buy again.
