Love the soft beautiful color! I am 75 and I have switched to softer colors of eye shadows and this is one of my favorites I’ve bought several before they quit making them! Easy to apply and I get so many compliments from people on how pretty my eyes look!

I initially got some Maybelline concealer and eyeshadow packs in a raffle from my job, but honestly I feel so passionate about them that I’ve begun buying them myself, and since Amazon is the best place to do it, I felt it was warranted to write a review. First of all, drugstore makeup brands deserve way more credit than they get, the products actually work really well, and in some cases better than their boutique counterparts. With that said, there’s also a ton of crap out there that caters to people who don’t invest in their makeup, so I see how people can come to that conclusion about the brands. Anyway, with the concealer, I initially had some problems with the way that it laid on my face, to be honest I saw a bit of the “caked on” vibe some of the other reviewers have seen, but when I went to a makeup counter (for eyebrow makeup, I never skimp on that) the artist told me that it was my skin that was making the my made up face look weird, and that I had tons of dead skin on both my t-zone and on my cheekbones. Well, that made sense. So I started to exfoliate, and voila, the makeup really started working for me. I guess it’s true what they say, you have to start with great skin. At any rate, I now think that the makeup is working really well, and the value is really unbelievable.Update: The exfoliator I used is called TreeActiv Anti Acne & Rosacea Treatment Sulfur Mask Plus Rhassoul, Bentonite Clay Mask with Witch Hazel & Aloe Vera – Refreshing Lemon Scent (1 Jar) (8 Oz) I noticed that other reviewers who were mentioning other products provided a link through, and figured I’d lend a hand. It’s still continuing to work well for my face, and I’m still using the Maybelline concealer (and eyeshadow) which make my face look great!

Who needs to spend like $60 on the naked palettes when you literally have all the shades that you need in this quad. The brown liner shadow is perfect and I actually use the crease colour as my liner because it gives it a softer look. Love it, great pigmentation, great price

I ordered the above product which arrived promptly. It was delivered in thin plastic package bag. When I opened it, product was wrapped in something thinner than plastic wrap. When I opened the actual eyeshadow one of the colours fell out as you can see by first photo. I put it back in and the eyeshadow was missing a corner as you can see by second photo. I used it for the first time this morning and the eyeshadow was as you can see by third photo very messy and had transferred to the other colours.It should have been wrapped in bubble paper or at least a padded bag.
