The Best I’ve Used short of making homemade.
It absolutely smells like natural lilacs, with no off artificial smell. I usually make my own whipped body butter. This formulation uses everything that I use.As a biochemist, I know that Jojoba is the most like our natural sebum (body oil). I look for jojoba in any moisturizer that I use. I also like to use vitamin E. Vitamin E is moisturizing, is an antioxidant, and it’s a natural preservative, being antibacterial. Shea butter helps hold the whipped form, so instead of lotion, you get “butter”. It absorbes beautifully, and attributes to staying power, even after repeated handwriting.The entire combination absorbs deep into the skin, without leaving it tacky or oily. My skin is soft and smooth. It smells like lilacs. The scent is medium strong, but quickly fades enough that it’s noticeable, but not cloying; it’s not sickening sweet.A little goes a long way. The formula is thick. The amount in the jar will last quite a while.

Smells and Feels like Heaven!! Satiny and Silky!
Love the satiny and silky feel for absolute sure and the smell is exactly as all reviews described!!HOWEVER – I Gave this a 4 STAR because of the GAUDY HUGE WHITE STICKER they placed on their beautiful Lilac Container. Come On Now! As far as I’m concerned – it ruined the entire look for sure but I am very funny about things like that especially if I pay $10.00 for a small container of Lilac Body Butter. This container is so very beautiful and I would prefer it not to have a huge gaudy sticker on it.

Luxurious creamy lotion
Smells almost like a fresh lilac tree but just a bit off. Super absorbing and thick luxurious butter like feel. The lotion/cream itself is amazing.

Not lavender, not a body butter and not ultra-hydrating
lavender is one of the most-used ingredients in the perfume industry – this ointment smelled nothing like lavender – maybe a bit of lilac or calalily but not lavender-y at all. Smelled like old lady after two minutes. Its not a body butter in comparison to other body butters – very sticky and doesn’t spread well – you need a LOT for a minimum area to work.While definitely more “moisturizing” than water, not particularly useful there – ten minutes later, it felt like nothing ever happened. Tried to make it work but its going in the trash – no point in holding on to something that is so dissatisfactory. Not going to send it back – not interested in that much activity.

I just want to say that this is the lotion you need for those nights you just shaved your legs, and changed your sheets. 💜 And even if you don’t, you’ll feel like you did. The scent is faint, but it’s definitely there. Smells just like fresh lilacs. I wasn’t sure why people were complaining about the light scent. Lilacs are already a delicate scent, if it was made to smell stronger it wouldn’t give the same vibe it has. Makes your skin super soft and gives it that nourished glow. The formula is not greasy and absorbs well. I love the smoothness of my skin after I put it on. Will 100% purchase again!💜💫
