I thought it would be more of a sleek hold, similar to edge control, but it is just what it says, a wax stick. I do see the difference after applying. I have less frizz and hair stays mostly flat and in place longer. However my hair does start to lift shortly after applying. So it just wasn’t the hold I was looking; but it can deff maintain a style and keep it in place for awhile. The product is less thick then a wax out the jar and does melt down some during application. It is a product that should be washed out regularly to avoid build.
