Odd formula, creamy a long time
These are pretty nice but the formula is odd. It does go on creamy and eventually dries to somewhat of a powder but it stays creamy feeling for a long time. I don’t use a primer so don’t know if that would make a difference but the creamy feeling lasting for several hours seems strange to me. The Putty matte is basically a non-color. I wanted a natural look but this has very little color and kind of looks like nothing on my lids. Even so, beyond the formula and color, I would buy this again. I’ll just go for a color that will show up better.

The color does not stay in place like I was hoping a cream would do. All the people that put a review must have been using something else. I purchased it because they all said they loved it. Not so much for the price.

Love all of Julep products! Especially love their eyeshadow sticks. Goes on smoothly without pulling your eyelids. Blends in nicely, will probably never purchase another brand of eyeshadow. I’ve been using them for over a year now. Waterproof and smudge resistant.

Creamy eyeshadow crayons which apply smoothly and dry down to being budgeproof fairly quickly.They are self propelled which is much better than crayons you have to faff about with to sharpen.Satin finish, blendable colours are well pigmented and stay all day.Not cheap, but well worth it, especially for portability when travelling or for handbag kits.

Please be aware that these are much darker than they appear online. I bought them after checking there was free returns because I know that colours don’t always show true online.It seems that this item can’t be returned – I assume because it is a cosmetic item. Not impressed that it shows ‘free returns’ so I have had to rate this poorly on ease of use and value for money since I can’t use it as it’s too dark.Feeling a little mislead so be careful, only buy this if you are 100% sure you want it.
