Smells Expensive, But Isn’t!!
Jafra, the company that makes Navigo, is not really known for high end products. After all, their company is more like a combination of Avon and Amway than it is like a high-end designer company. That’s what makes this cologne so surprising. Both in appearance and in fragrance, Navigo comes across as a top of the line, expensive, designer men’s cologne! The scent is unique and appeals to both women and men. In fact, I get more compliments on this cologne, particularly from women, than I have EVER received for any other fragrance. The scent is very clean with elements of citrus- lemon and tangerine, water, bergamot, and fresh greenery. It is a long lasting cologne, but one that doesn’t ever feel heavy or cloying. It is a fresh, masculine, energetic scent that works well as a cologne for day OR for evening. Unless you know someone who sells Jafra products, this cologne can be fairly hard to find, so I always buy at least two bottles at a time. I have compared this fragrance to all of the following designer colognes, and Navigo always comes out on top: Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue,Angel Sunessence by Thierry Mugler, Portfolio Elite by Perry Ellis, Chrome Sport by Azzaro, Oxygene by Lanvin, Lacoste Essential Sport, Encounter by Calvin Klein, and Eternity Aqua by Calvin Klein! And the best part? Navigo is cheaper than ALL of the rest! Hey, you shouldn’t have to drop a million bucks to smell like a million bucks, right? This has now become MY scent and because it is not over-produced or well-known, it’s distinctiveness is a plus. Just yesterday I passed by a woman at work on the way to the printer and she sighed and said, “God, you smell so good!” Now THAT’s an endorsement!
