Customers say
Customers find this shaving lube works better than supermarket alternatives, providing a frictionless, close shave while making facial hair soft. The product leaves skin feeling great and comfortable, with one customer noting it’s not oily or heavily fragranced. They appreciate that it keeps razors clean, lasts a long time, and is easy to rinse off. While some customers consider it well worth the price, others find it pricey.

Smooth, comfortable, effective and aesthetic
This is a fantastic shaving cream that is the perfect texture for a nice clean shave. I switched from a shaving gel because I didn’t like the texture of a thick cream that seemed to protect the skin but almost too well preventing a smooth razor clean shave but this one by Jack Black is my new favorite. I also appreciate the packaging with the pump dispenser which releases the perfect amount of product for me.It does have a “cooling” effect that some may not prefer but my skin is comfortable, perfectly shaved (no patches) and ready for anything else I use (SPF 50+ daily)

A bit expensive but very good product.
I like that this goes on clear. No need to remove shave cream or gel at bottom of beard line with my finger do I can see where to shave.Tapping razor after rinsing to get hair out is easier than with other products. Everything comes out after tapping razor on sink.Very little irritation. Skin becomes looser with age, but beard stays the same so it’s harder to get close shaves. This is these best product so far. A little goes a long way.

Best of the no-lather shave creams, and one of the best bar none.
In summary this is the best all-around cream I’ve used, and it’s unquestionably better than its no-lather competitors Creamo, Billy Jealousy, etc. Obviously it can’t be all things to all people, but this cream paired with a Schick Hydro 3 gives me the best, most consistent shaves I’ve ever had, and I’m also a head shaver so that’s a consideration for some of you.More in depth thoughts:I am an experienced shaver, and have operated on both ends of the continuum. On one end I’ve explored the full DE wet shaving experience with a wide assortment of razors, blades, creams, and brushes. On the other end I’ve gone barebones BIC Metal disposable and a can of Barbasol.Shaving is not a ritualistic behavior for me like it is for some men; it’s something that simple needs to be done, and I’d like it to be done as well as possible, but it’s not a process I want to turn into a 20-minute meditation. Unfortunately, this is essentially the path you end up going down when you enter the DE world. More time, more prep, more exacting technique almost always translate into better shaves, and conversely, any attempts at hastening the process usually result in a sub-par (and sometimes painful) shaving experience. If you are one of those men who truly revels in the shaving process, you probably can achieve better results with a great DE razor, Feather Blades, a badger tipped brush, and some Truefitt & Hill shave cream, along with a good half hour. If you’re like me, however, and you desire a more concise shaving experience, Beard Lube may be for you.Part of the problem with evaluating a shave cream is that it’s only one of the variables in the equation, the others being your razor, your technique, your skin, etc. After a lot of juggling, I’ve found that this cream pairs exceptionally well with the Schick Hydro 3; it doesn’t clock the blades, and it makes the razor glide completely effortlessly while providing an exceptionally close shave.I find Beard Lube’s performance to be superior to other no lather creams like Creamo, which I find frankly to be a poor cream, and Billy Jealousy’s Hydroplane, which is pretty good in its own right but Beard Lube outdoes it. As a head shaver this cream has proven excellent, which is important since creams that are often excellent on the face can prove trying on the head, or vice versa. The smell is very pleasant, the price is right, and you can buy a 3oz version if you’re a frequent flyer like me.

It was a close shave
You can get a close shave with an electric razor without the 1950s smell. I still use a blade but I like to freshen up with an electric so I can dash out of the house with a clean face. It will work great with a blade or electric

Consistent Quality – Customer for 15 Years
Have used this product for years. Reliable, consistent quality. Shave my head and the translucence is great. No irritation. Amazon AI wants me to comment on scent. What scent?

Great Shaves Ahead
Great product – soothing to your skin after the shave and helps to lift the hairs to be shaved closely. Highly recommend.

works well, but, it does go on cool
For Christmas, my relatives gave me a double edge razor (back in fashion, and a sampler pack of blades). They also gave me a badger hair brush, and a tub of shave cream. I bought a shave bowl to make lather. I used to do the shaving mug, and DE razor years ago. I thought DE had died out, but, there are websites that sell brands like Derby, Astra, and Shark blades, and most of them run about $0.10 per blade, as opposed to my Mach 3, which is about $2.00 a pop.Time for mix and match, I’d been using a Mach 3, and Jack Black Beard lube for years. The beard lube is much better than the shave cream with the double edge, regardless of the brand of blade. It does a better job protecting my skin.I can’t say the beard lube is a lot better than whip it yourself when using the Mach 3, but, you don’t need as much protection. I can say that my blades last a lot longer with Beard Lube than they do using the push button foam. from a can.The experiment has ended, and the DE razor is sitting idle, as the Mach 3 handle, and the Taylor of Bond Street (makes my face break out after a couple days), and the badger brush.I upgraded to the Edwin Jager handle, more weight gives a smoother shave. The only 2 components that survived were the Mach 3 cartridges, and Jack Black Beard Lube

From someone who rarely leaves reviews
I am someone who never leaves a review unless I am truly impressed or repulsed by an item. This stuff is awesome. I hate shaving my face but because of having spent so much of my life in the military I cannot stand to have beard. This lotion makes shaving almost enjoyable. I have dark coarse facial hair and it makes it smooth and easy to shave… and most of all doesn’t clog my razor. I dunno how they did it but I’m telling everyone who uses a razor and cream to shave to switch to this stuff.

La he añadido a mis compras recurrentes.
