I cut my finger and I needed a few stitches. I was instructed to wash the wound daily for a few days with Hibiclens. The 4 fl oz size is perfect to keep in the medicine cabinet or wherever you house your first aid kit. Hibiclens is a name-brand antibiotic skin cleanser. It’s a good first-aid staple to have on hand for the occasional cuts, scratches, gashes, or wounds. Hibiclens comes in a plastic bottle with a flip-cap top. It arrives taped closed. It did not open or spill during shipping. Hibiclens is easy to use. The antibiotic skin cleanser does have a smell. It’s hard to describe. The active ingredient is Chlorhexidine Gluconate 4%. I am glad that I purchased it and will have it on hand for any future mishaps. At the time of purchase, the price was reasonable for the size. I am sure this 4 fl oz bottle will go a long way. A small amount lathers up well.
