This is a great product! I occasionally get a cold sore and I stumbled upon this a couple years ago and it healed the cold shower in a day or two, if you start using it at the first signs of it coming on. I also use it in the summer because it has 30 SPF.

Life-Changing for Cold Sore Sufferers!
I waited almost a year to write this review to see if this product truly works, and I can confidently say it absolutely does! I used to get cold sore breakouts 3-4 times a year, especially triggered by stress, wind, or sun exposure. Since using this as my everyday chapstick, I haven’t had a single outbreak in the past year.If you struggle with frequent cold sores, I highly recommend this product. The only downside is that it gives your lips a slight whitish tint, but that’s a small price to pay for staying outbreak-free!

Best lip balm I’ve ever used.
Best lip balm I’ve ever found. Used it for years. Went to several drug stores looking for it but none had it. Gave up and looked on Amazon and there it was. Chapped lips, or cold sores, Herpecin-L will sooth it and heal it. Credible product and competitively priced at Amazon.

Have been using HerpecinL for many-many years, won’t use anything else. Used to get embarrassing lip sores caused by stress, and by using this daily on my lips that doesn’t happen anymore.
