It’s a deep, rich brown with just enough darkness to define the eyes without looking too harsh. The finish is a beautiful balance between matte and satin, which adds a subtle sophistication to any look.Application and Wear:The formula glides on effortlessly without skipping or tugging, however, you will need to swipe on the back of your hand first to “warm” up the product. Disappointing
I swear by Heroine Make’s mascara, so I thought for sure this eyeliner would be amazing. Unfortunately, I’ve found it to be dry and lacking pigmentation. Maybe I got a bad batch? When I draw on the back of my hand, it works fine, but it doesn’t work well over my eyeshadow when I use it on my eyes.

A true waterproof eyeliner for hooded eyes is a rare gem, and this is it. Give it a few seconds to set after application while keeping your eyes closed. Then, voila! The eyeliner lasts all day––zero smudging, fading, or discoloration––until a cotton pad doused with a good eye makeup remover (I used Clinique) sweeps across the liners a few times to make everything disappear. My first purchase was in jet black, and then I bought one in brown black. I personally prefer brown black because the color looks more natural and less intense. The kind of dark brown is much darker than espresso, almost close to black, so it blends very naturally with the colors of my eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair. One other thing I like about the pen is the brush design, which makes it easy to create a fine tip and a thicker brush stroke. 5 stars out of 5.

I had high hopes for this product. But the pen arrived almost dry, and what little it had barely covered my lash line. Very disappointing.

Love it! I bought the black version while visiting Japan and fell in love with it over the brand I’ve been a ride or die with for a decade. The brown one is great because it blends in a little more subtly with my lashes creating a sharper look to them
