My review after owning for 1.5 years
Updating to add that I just got the three panel version for another bathtub in our house and love that one too. You can’t go wrong with this bath pillow. I will go back to this one for years to come.Original review: I have been using bath pillows for years now and have to replace them often due to wear and tear. I think this is my favorite one I’ve owned out of the various kind I’ve had over the years. The biggest pro is the waterproof vinyl material. It makes it super easy to keep clean and free of mold (which has been one of my biggest qualms with other bath pillows in the past). Plus, since the material is water proof, it keeps the surface temperature consistent, so you won’t be jarred from a freezing cold bath pillow on your back due to it holding water on the surface from your last bath. Some people might not be a fan of the thinner profile of this pillow in comparison to others, but I actually find that the slimmer size makes it easier to keep in place for some reason and is more comfortable if you’re like me and aren’t looking to fully lay down in the bath but just have some cushion for your upper back and neck. It’s not too rigid like some can be so it contours around your body.I’ve actually owned this style of bath pillow before, and have found that the only con of these pillows is that the seam starts to slightly open up over time and soak in water, weighing it down and ultimately resulting in me having to replace them. This isn’t necessarily unique to this kind of bath pillow, it’s just the only issue I seem to have with this one.With that being said, after owning this one for 1.5 years and using it for baths for about three to four times a week, this one has begun absorbing water through the seams and it’s time to replace it. Honestly, I think that’s standard for bath pillows, no matter what material they’re made of. So hopefully that timeline will be helpful for someone else who is considering purchasing one!All-in-all, I recommend this bath pillow more than the others, especially at this price point! I hope one day they’ll be able to make the seams more durable but at this price, I can’t be too mad about it.

Ultimate Comfort and Support for My Head, Neck and upper Back
I shower in the mornings, which is a quick process because I am in a rush to start my day. However, in the evenings I like to relax by soaking in the tub, for me it relieves mental, emotion and physical stress too. Unfortunately, although the warm water is soothing to my body, my head and neck were previously uncomfortable against the hard tile and the porcelain tub wall, which tends to ruin the completely soothing experience.This bath pillow makes all the difference and it allows me to recline in peaceful tranquility. I lay my head back comfortably on this thick cushy bath pillow, and my neck and shoulders are comfortable and supported.This bath pillow has many advantages over my last headrest, which is an inflatable clam-shell shaped cushion. One issue was the inflatable cushion would deflate as I lay back against it. It also kept my head, neck, and shoulders upright, and although I could lean into it, I was unable to bend my neck back in a restfully position. I did not like the four suction cups, the two on the top and two on the bottom spread out in this manner allows the cushion to slip and slide as I try to lie back. Additionally, this other has a terry cloth lining that is difficult to keep clean, and loose hair would catch in the material.In comparison, the Gorilla Grip spa pillow has a better design, and superior construction. It is a thickly cushioned double-paneled, padded foam headrest and the pillow gives my head the ability to lie back, rather than restrict me to remain in an upright position. Since it’s not an inflatable cushion, it does not collapse under pressure. In addition, the spa pillow has seven suction cups, and spaced evenly apart so they do not slip and slide when I shift my head or neck in a different position. Furthermore, this has a smooth and soft rubbery exterior which is comfortable to sink into and very easy to wipe down.I have used, tried, and owned several different types and brands of bath spa pillows, and it is my opinion that this Gorilla Grip is the very best in design, comfort and construction. This pillow supports my head, neck and shoulders with a luxurious soft feeling, which allows me the pleasure to enjoy the soothing experience, of a truly relaxing warm soak.

Not for corrugated surface
I bought it to use it in a hot tub (jacuzzi) and it is very comfy. It doesn’t stuck on the corrugated surface but it still does it job.

I researched other similar products before buying this one and am glad I did. The suction cups work very well on my conventional bathtub and can be re-positioned to where I want them if I want to change it. The white vinyl is very easy to clean and keep clean as opposed to open weave material on other similar products. Also even though this is made in China like most things are now days there is still an American company that distributes this and you can deal with customer service in North America rather than in China. I was expecting to pay duty fees to Canada but through Amazon Prime it shipped without any additional charges. I find this bath pillow comfortable and am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend that if you have the money, pay a little bit more to get this rather than buy a cheaper bath pillow. You get what you pay for.
