Soft, Smooth Feet in No Time!
Gold Bond Softening Foot Cream with Shea Butter has been a game-changer for my dry, rough feet. After just a few uses, I could already feel a noticeable difference. My heels, which were cracked and rough, now feel soft and smooth. The cream has a rich texture that absorbs quickly without feeling greasy, and the shea butter gives it a light, pleasant scent. It’s perfect to use before bed or after a shower—my feet feel pampered and hydrated every time.At 4 oz., the tube is a great size, and a little goes a long way, so it’s excellent value for the price. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a reliable foot cream to tackle dryness and roughness!

    So moisturizing
Works amazingly well. I put it on when I get out of the shower and before I put socks on and my feet have gotten so soft. It is a tad bit greasy so I do recommend wearing socks after applying.

It’s not a panacea, but it does help.
If you want a miracle product that will turn your tough-callused feet into soft baby feet, this is not going to do the trick. Perhaps somewhat foolishly, I thought this would help my feet transform from hobbit feet into elf feet. That said, it is really great if you have issues with cracked heels, and if you use it in conjunction with some kind of abrading device, you will have significantly softer feet. I’m somewhat ashamed to say this, but rather than getting some little cheese grater or microplane device (yes, they make them for your feet), I took a different route. After a shower, I took my pocket knife (yes, a pocket knife) and put a small rubbish bin under my foot. Then I used the blade perpendicularly (that is, edge straight-on towards my calluses) and carefully scraped away a bunch of dead skin, which came off really easily when my feet were wet. I scraped away the skin that came away easily, then I stopped and applied some of this lotion. Again, my feet are not soft like baby skin, and they likely never will be — but they aren’t so dry and scratchy that they damage my socks anymore. That’s my two bits — the lotion is only half of the equation here. You may also need to use some good old fashioned elbow grease in conjunction with it. It smells a lot nicer than the standard gold bond foot cream (less medicinal), and it seems to work a little better.

    Hydrate my body
Usually I am not a user of foot creams because none of them seem to really provide long lasting results to my skin. I have a terminal problem with my skin and the suggestion that my dermatologist recommended to me was to apply crème based lotions several times a day, but who has time to be slathering stuff on my skin all day long. Living in the windy city of Chicago with brutal wind and long drawn out winters, moisture is something that I absolutely need on my skin, so that it does not feel overly tight and scaly with calluses on the pressure points of my feet. The smell of this lotion is something that is amazing, because this is the first factor of consideration with choosing and buying products. Surprisingly this lotion has a pleasant smell and I love that because often times some foot creams have that overly medicinal smell that sometimes take away from the intended use of the product. The consistency of this lotion is easy to use and not very goopy or thick which is very mindful for when you want to apply to the skin after getting out of the shower or wanting something that will easily glide on the skin without that heavy greasy feeling. The true test of this product is how well this product is absorbed in the skin and whether it will easily be absorbed in the skin, or will it be absorbed by my favorite pair of cotton socks, and surprisingly after I tested this product 4 hours later my skin still was moisturized and not very dry like they usually are.Other factoring of picking out foot creams that I also consider is the packaging and how easy it is to dispense the product in my hand right out of the shower or on the go, and for a 4oz tube, it’s generally about the right size that would fits most people hands. And most importantly I take that into consideration because if both of my hands have a bit of lotion that I did not apply to my skin I don’t want to have to worry about the tube slipping out of my hands, and me needing to worry about that but unfortunately that does not seem to be much of a problem with the material that it was packed in. Now the con for this product would be the size of the tube, I want more or larger size options for the winter season that’s upcoming.Although this product does say it would last for 24 hours, I do believe that after taking a long steamy shower or bath I will be right back to the drawing board with dry skin and I need more lotion to make things back moisturized and hydrated. So a bigger tube for the upcoming winter would be great for people who live in the Midwest area, so that we don’t have to scour the shelves trying to get this product if they can’t wait for amazon to deliver it. Although this product is intended to be used on my feet, I also am going to use this as my regular hand lotion, which is in desperate need of moisture ALL THE TIME, I can easily whip out the tube quickly rub it in my skin while waiting at the light and keep on trucking down the road. After doing bathroom breaks with the cheap hand soaps that businesses provide to the public my hands are zapped of any remote signs of moisture and this product would double as my foot and hand cream only because of the size of this tube that I can easily put in my pocket or car. Great product just make it in a bigger tube!
