Smells really good
First time using it tonight, not sure if it will actually work to put me to sleep but I can say this lotion smells amazing, I took a hot shower and then put it on and I feel pretty relaxed, I feel like just the smell of it will put me to sleep soon lol my skin feels soft and after taking a hot shower my skin usually drys out so it seems to moisturize well. Even if it doesn’t help with sleep I’d honestly just buy it again for the smell.

Scary how good it works. Make sure to use hrs before bed or you’ll sleep through your alarm, well, I slept through my alarm lol. I was pretty tired during the following day and went right to sleep the following night. I love it for when I don’t have anything to do the following day or have my toddler grandson. I will be getting the children’s lotion for my grandson and maybe myself as well because this is STRONG! Smells good but not too moisturizing. Want to sleep all night and day get it lol.

It definitely works but I wouldn’t use it on anyone under 2 years old.
I use this product on my soon to be three year old after he takes a bath at night and it literally takes him less than 20 minutes to fall asleep. His bath time is between 8:30 and 9PM so that he can play hisself to sleep by 10 because for some odd reason a bath gives him energy.. lol but since using this product after applying cocoa butter first(just because thats our regular lotion and I love the way it smells on him) he’s ready for cuddles and is asleep 15-20 minutes top with or without our normal piano music playing in the background which soothes him. I thought about making his bath and bedtime sooner but didn’t want it to mess us his daytime schedule by waking up too early and he be tired before nap time. Right now he sleeps until 8:00am which is me waking him for the daycare during the week. On the weekends he sleeps in past 9:30 easy when before he was up by 7 every morning in his own. Hopes this helps.

Amazing scent, fully moisturizing, and good thickness.
It smells amazing, it’s Teal’s so you know it’s gonna be moisturizing and it is not too thick just a little runny good consistency. Now that I have used all the key words here is my review. I love this as a lotion it really does smell great and keep my skin soft. It just doesn’t work very well to put me or my kids to sleep. I only took away one star for that though because it’s such a personal thing, it really varies alot from person to person and I don’t blame the company or the product for that. Some people produce too much melatonin, some people not enough, I even hear some are just right 🙂 It just didn’t work for my family, I would still suggest trying it for your family if it doesn’t work you still end up with a nice lotion.

Damaged but able to try
I got a nice lavender scent from this lotion from the bag it was in & applied what I could to my hands to try it out. I didn’t think it was watery as others wrote about. It wasn’t a thick lotion but creamy. It was moisturizing. It a nice size for what I paid. This is all can write about due to the lotion being packaged in a bag & it most have been stepped on because the bottle was squished. Unsure on ordering again as it’s always an unknown how things will be packaged which is unfortunate. I may give it a try in the future. Right now I’m disappointed but was happy I received a refund due to the damage. I didn’t put enough on & it was during the day to attest to the melatonin in the lotion but I’d say it’s probably a good product. I’m happy to know it isn’t a watery lotion though. Will clear my mind from the experience & purchase in the future. I wish the choice in packaging would be better.

I didn’t expect this to work as well as it does. I originally bought it for my toddler who has right sided hemiparesis and we were using this for therapeutic massage at night to help his mobility. I can’t speak for my son (he has a bunch of therapies so hard to pinpoint how this helped him), but I did use this on myself when I was restless and couldn’t sleep. Within a few minutes of me applying this lotion to my arms and legs, I was fast asleep and slept well through the night. It doesn’t make me feel overly tired in the morning like some other over-the-counter sleep aids do.

So if you’re black you’re probably wondering if this is strong enough, moisturizing enough for black skin, which is both thicker than and not as well suited for winter conditions as white skin. The answer is yes. I am black and have dry, sensitive skin. I’ve suffered with eczema most of my life although it’s mostly under control now and doesn’t strongly affect my life anymore.But dry skin does. It’s hard to find a relatively inexpensive lotion that can work for me. In terms of over the counter, nothing inexpensive does much for me. Vaseline and Jergens are useless for me. I can do well with Cerave but that’s $18 for 500ml so I was looking for something a little cheaper.In comes Dr. Teal’s. It is thin in texture and goes on very easily, so thin and easy that it SEEMS like it won’t moisturize well enough. I’ve been using it for about a week or just over that, and I still have half a bottle of Cerave left. Between the two – they seem to work about as well. Cerave MIGHT be SLIGHTLY more moisturizing but so little it’s negligible and not worth the extra $10 per bottle.This goes on thinly but somehow still feels a bit rich. It smells good if you like coconut, and it’s full of good, natural ingredients. It doesn’t do the trick for my face but it’s working well on my body and it’s $8! So this is where Cerave, which has always done its job, and I part ways and my wallet thanks me a bit.

I read the reviews before buying and got worried about the greasiness but decided to go ahead anyways… I am so happy I did! The lotion goes on a bit greasy initially but after 1-2 minutes post application the greasy feeling went away completely. Enough so that I could touch things (phone, keyboard, mouse, etc.) without leaving a residue! My skin feels so soft as well (I live in -30 conditions and this cream has somehow brought my dead scratchy skin back to life).The size is great! It’s definitely enough to last you through a month of winter. The scent is amazing too- initially it smells like a very rich coconut and behind that you get a slight tropical fruit note.Can’t recommend this enough especially at that price. I’ve definitely found my new favourite lotion.

I love this body lotion! It soaks in very quick and almost feels silky once absorbed and it smells nice too. I originally bought it at Walmart and decided to repurchase on amazon since it was the same price. Only downside was that the pump top came completely broken off so I will just have to use the pump that is in the bottle I’m currently using. Not a big deal but it would suck for those who don’t have an extra pump. Other than that, I totally recommend!
