Our Story
In 2007 the soon to be CEO of Crown Quality Products, Robert A. Watson had a vision which involved creating an innovative new hairbrush that would quickly and efficiently define deep 360 wave hair patterns. Having been a local barber, he was familiar with the unique requirements of natural Black hair. Watson carved his initial hair brushes by hand from 2 x 4’s and worked diligently to fine tune the design. In 2008 he perfected and copyrighted the first ever contoured wave brush.

I have used many brushes, but the CQP medium bristle brush works the best. The quality is superior, and I like how rich the paint and engraved logos look. I have had two other CQP brushes ( hard and premium) for over two years and they still look and work excellent. I recommend this brush for anyone serious about grooming their hair fast.

After using this brush I kept getting splits. As you may know boar isn’t supposed to do that. I took a closer inspection of the bristles and it’s plastic! Before that I used during a blow dry and the bristles started to act like plastic. If it looks and acts like plastic it’s plastic. It’s not a healthy hair brush. This is only for those who like damage and splits
