Excellent Hair Product
The best hair styling product I’ve ever used! Easy to spread, non-greasy, won’t weigh your hair down. Gives your hair great volume and control while holding hair in place with no stiffness and gives a matte to natural look. Scent is very light. I will order again.

Does the job well for the price.
Just ordered my second one so i thought i would leave a review as i am finishing the first jar. It holds well, i added a little water to decrease the firmness and be able to style it a little. Before this product i used johnny b’s gel for about 8 years. The gel would leave my hair itchy and uncomfortable, so l searched for a new product. This clay is definitely more comfortable and i only have to use a little. I like the more natural finish this has compared to my previous shiny gel. I am sure there are better clays, but for the price, i will stick to this one for now.

Great stuff, my go-to hair product
I’ve now purchased this item four times, so it’s safe to say I’m happy with it. When my hair’s short, a little goes a long way, and it only seems to have trouble keeping everything in place when my hair’s on the longer side. There’s a light earthy smell to it, but I only notice if I stick my nose in the jar. It’s easy to apply, isn’t shiny, doesn’t feel heavy, and is easy to wash out. A jar lasts me roughly 6-8 months.No complaints – I plan on ordering another jar when my new one goes dry!

Not exactly what I expected from a “Sculpting Clay”
I have very fine hair (and not a lot of it anymore) and normally I use some sort of “clay” product to style my hair in a messy, spikey kind of style. It looks like my favorite brand on Amazon (Cab’s) has been discontinued and I was looking for another option. I purchased the Cremo Sculpting Clay and I’ve used it about 7 or 8 times so far. I was surprised to find that it’s more creamy as opposed to the dry clay I was used to. It initially has pretty good hold and no shine and lets me style my hair like I have been doing. But, after about half the day it seems to not hold as well and kind of leaves my hair feeling waxy … not shiny or anything – but almost slightly greasy and soft. My old brand gave my hair a lot more texture than this Sculpting Clay. I do like that it’s not overly scented like a lot of the other products, but I’m not sure it’s going to be my go-to replacement. All this being said, I am going to try the Cremo Thickening Paste to see how that works on my hair.

Best stuff for thin or fine hair
2nd jar of this stuff, works great for thin or fine hair.Leaves a near matte finish and isn’t too tacky.It has about a medium hold, nothing that will glue your hair down but it does hold throughout the day.I have really fine hair and it works well with my hair type.Doesn’t clump my hair together making my hair look thinner or make my scalp visible that most higher hold and wetter looking gels do.

I recently switched to the Cremo Premium Barber Grade Hair Styling Sculpting Clay, and it’s been nothing short of a game-changer in my haircare routine.This product has a slightly wetter consistency compared to what I used before, making it ideal for those times when I don’t have damp hair to work with. Low hold, stains and smells terrible
Update — I ended up missing my return window so I “sucked it up” and continued to use the product. What I did not mention in the reviews but should have is that this product has a black dye that rubs off onto everything. You literally have to wash your hands before wiping them on a towel because it will stain/darken your towel. The other issue is your pillows or any other location where your head will be in contact with a surface. The product rubs off and stains pillow cases or your bedding. It does come out in the wash but wow I am surprised I’m the only one having this issue. I’m not using a lot of product either.I absolutely love Cremo shaving products but they really missed in a big way with this product. The product feels about right when scooping it out of the container but really breaks down quickly when applying it to hair. I ended up having tufts of my horse hair loose all over my head and it looked terrible by the end of the day. The size is also too big for TSA and travel. Lastly and the worst part is the smell. I don’t even know how to describe it. Somewhere between medicine and talc powder. Not pleasant at all. I had to avoid people getting too close to me to smell. I’ll be returning these as the product is simply not as described.
