Smooth glide, subtle color
The colors themselves were vibrant. The biggest thing I noticed right off the bat was the smell. They smelled oddly fruity, I guess I’d say. They glide on super smooth, however, the color was a lot more subtle on my skin. You would probably need a few layers to get closer to the color of the stick. Another thing to consider is that it wiped off pretty easy with a tissue. Whether that’s a positive or negative thing is a matter of personal opinion.

So much easier than powder eyeshadows
As someone who struggles a bit with applying makeup, I will hands down say these seem to be a Godsend. They are so easy to use and apply, and they go on very smoothly. I felt like I had far more control over these pencils than any makeup brush I’ve ever tried before. They blended very well, and look like normal eyeshadow. That being said, they don’t have the same consistency of a powder eyeshadow. They feel more like a thick eyeliner pencil, so they are a little heavier on the eyelid. Regardless, I would hands down choose these over a brush anyday if I can. The colors are very lovely, and come in a wide variety, so there’s something for everyone and for every occasion.

Good for costumes, not daily wear
These colors look great and I love the assortment that this bundle has. But they were sent all loose in a mailer, no box or branded bag, so I had to double check against the listing that I actually had all the colors. They go on really sheer but build up to be a little darker easily enough. The bad thing though is that they smudge pretty badly, if you have deeper set or hooded eyes, this will not stay in place properly. The color itself washes off fine but the glittery bits took more effort.

Nice shimmery eye shadow.
This set of 16 eyeshadows actually come as 16 individual pieces, which I wasn’t expecting somehow. But each eye shadow stick is individually sealed. This would make them good for giving as individual gifts, favors, etc. if you wanted to do that. (Or buy a cosmetic case or an organizer and gift the whole set in it. At any rate, these eye shadows go on really nicely, they are smooth and soft, and don’t tug at the skin going on like a dry pencil might. It’s easy to layer on without going overboard….if it is too light, just apply additional layers. The colors have a nice shimmer to them. The variety of colors is great. Definitely a win!

Sheer, Needs to be Set
This is a nice, cheap set. I would recommend getting this for someone younger. This is very sheer and you do need to set it with powder if you want it to last and not crease. These are not very blendable either, they kind of just wipe off. This is a good base for powder, but I wouldn’t wear these alone unless I wanted them to come off during the day, because they don’t last. The colors are super pretty and this is very easy to use. All the colors are nice and look pretty on each eye color. I like these but would not wear them without powder. Didn’t irritate my eyes and you don’t need to press super hard to get these to work. They are okay quality.

These eyeshadows are very pretty and easy to apply. The color is not very pigmented, and is more of a sheer color. These eyeshadows also blend very easily.
