New products have come to the marketplace which claim to be updated versions of the classic but the best solution is still the classic styptic pencil.

Works very well
I sometimes knick under chin. This stops bleeding very quickly. Is large, so will last for a long time. That makes it a good value

Stops the bleed
This pencil puts the Styp in Styptic. Wish I’d tried one earlier in my shaving career. Handles nicks with aplomb

Plugs up cuts like a charm!
I was skeptical about this product. Then a couple weeks after I bought it, I got two bad cuts. One near my lip, the other on my cheek. I applied the styptic pencil and the bleeding stopped in seconds! No sting! The pencil looks like its made of underarm deodorant. Whatever it is, it works and it lasts!
