I use a lot of carrier and essential oils, and make most of my own skin products. Cliganic is a brand I trust. This particular rosehip seed carrier oil is my go-to. It’s one of the oils in my nighttime blend, and on my desk to use during the day after I use facial mists.It has less of that strong rosehip scent that I’m not crazy about. It also gives perfect “slip” for doing gua sha.Rosehip seed oil is a “dry” oil, so it penetrates into the skin quickly, leaving skin hydrated and keeping my facial mist locked in better, and leaves skin dewy, but not greasy.If you have very dry or damaged skin I suggest mixing in a little neem or jojoba oil.

I like the Cliganic line in general – the Argan, Jojoba, And the Rosehip seed oil. This Rosehip seed oil is not something I’d consider to be a “dry oil” as it doesn’t absorb nearly as fast as the others – but it does work well with moisturizing the skin. I cleanse, use 2% hyaluronic acid (the Ordinary) and then the rosehip seed oil. It doesn’t have much in the way of smell… certainly not anything rose like – once before I got the same oil and it smell heavily like rose… Not sure if that’s a result of added perfume etc. It doesn’t smell bad or rancid – the smell is faint and leans more towards pleasant.

No smell, not greasy and soaks in. My skin after a few uses is SO MUCH HAPPIER, i have to use less. I even shared it with a few friends and they also love it and will be purchasing a bottle. I liked it so much i also bought one for my mom.

This is a great oil!! I use it on my face, and also add some to my body lotion. It makes my skin extra soft, and this oil absorbs well. I’ve also noticed that some of the darker spots on my forehead, are fading. I’ll now start using it on my hands, to see if the same, will happen. All in all, it really is a great oil. Thank you!!
