Quick Results
This Caudalie Premier Cru ‘Anti-Aging’ Serum starts to work pretty quickly after application. Given the cost I am concentrating on those inevitable problem areas on my face and I am very happy with the results. The serum is thicker than other brands so it is somewhere between a watery serum and a lotion. It has a very mild but pleasant scent.I worked it in to my freshly cleaned face and I could feel something was changing and after about 15 minutes some of the areas were noticeably smoother. I have been steadily applying this at night and in the morning that smoothing effect is still present.Does it reverse all signs of aging? Well no. But is it a great product to spot treat areas that need extra attention? For certain, yes.Can I make this last for awhile? Yes, I think if I just focus on problem spots where I have been detecting a difference, it is worth the investment to me.

Sensitive Skin. Lightweight. Hopeful for Results.
I recently found this brand through their effective salicylic spot treatment, and was intrigued to try this niacinamide and hyaluronic acid serum! The serum has a light scent and a nice consistency that absorbs quickly, which I appreciate. Importantly, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive, breakout-prone skin, even though I also struggle with eczema (though not on my face). However, I haven’t yet noticed visible results. While I appreciate the gentle formula and beneficial ingredients, the lack of visible results so far leaves me hoping to see improvements with extended use!

Absolutely remarkable all-in-one serum
I am very very very critical of my skincare, usually, and I typically don’t go for gimmicky or flashy higher-end brands. Most of this is due to value in comparison to my own budget. I will admit, I went in not expecting much from this product, and I was prepared not to love it, or to feel like it was like every other moisturizing serum with a high price tag.I have to say, it is looking like I will need to find a way to work this into my budget so that I can repurchase it again and again. I LOVE the way this product makes my skin look and feel. I don’t love that it’s such a small size and might only last a month, but I haven’t found another product that I can apply at night after my shower, seal with a moisturizer and wake up as a glowing goddess with smooth, clear, bright skin. The packaging is attractive as well and gives a vibe of high quality class. Now, I don’t usually purchase my skincare with packaging in mind, but it is a nice bonus to have it feel luxurious.Ultimately, I love this serum. I have extremely dry skin and this plumps it right up, visibly improves blemishes and fine lines seemingly overnight. My skin hasn’t looked better in years, and now I’ll have to find a way to keep using this again and again and again.

Feels great on my skin!
This is a lovely moisturizing serum, and it plays well with my skin. I don’t find that I break out after using it and it does help to moisturize my skin. I will add I have oily skin, so I sort of have a love-hate with any type of extra moisture, but this works really nice for me. I do realize that for a lot of people it’s costly, so you just have to determine if the price point is doable and worth it. But, overall I think it’s a lovely product and I like the way it makes my skin feel.

It’s nice but expensive and claimed effect is a cosmetic temporary one.
Caudalie Premier Cru Anti-Aging Serum comes in a 30 ml (or 1 oz) glass pump style bottle. The highlighted ingredients are Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid (macro and micro), which seem like pretty standard skincare ingredients to me. It says it has instant tightening sugar from Honey Locust and hydration among other things. It also has something called Caudalie Longevity Patent which I have no idea what that means, but it sounds cool. I checked out their website and couldn’t really find what ‘Caudalie Longevity Patent’ is supposed to mean or represent. Also, something about grapes. There is a symbol for a bunch of grapes on the bottle and they show the product with grapes in the photos here in the listing. The connection seems unexplained here in the listing, but according to their website it has to do with grape seed polyphenols which are or contain antioxidants. It does show extracts from both the grapevine and grapeseed in the ingredients. It is well formulated in that it feels really nice and goes on the skin so smoothly. Is it doing anything? Well, yes it does do something, but the tighten effect is purely a cosmetic effect in that it’s temporary; they say ‘up to six hours.’ I mean my deodorant says it works for up to 48 but um, it really doesn’t. Should I view this then not as skincare but a cosmetic? I guess it’s both. 98% natural ingredients and vegan. It’s expensive and it’s made in France by a family owned company. It’s always fun to try a new skincare serum and if the price is within your budget, it’s certainly worth a try.
