Soothing option
This is a really nice, gentle serum. I especially like to use it after applying actives or when want to deeply hydrate. I apply it under moisturizer at morning and night. It doesn’t cause my makeup to break down throughout the day, which is a win for me. The only downside is that you run out of product quickly with frequent use.

Ceramide Face Moisturizer
The Ceramide formula benefits moisture into my skin, which greatly helps prevent irritation and dryness. It also protects me from environmental damage such as UV sun rays and pollution. It delays any fine lines and wrinkles that are often more noticeable when my skin is rough and dry. Ceramide also locks in moisture to minimize their appearance. I used this every night after cleansing, and gently massage it all over my face.

Skin is happy but a bit pricy
My face loved this, it felt hydrated and soft afterward. My issue is that it is a bit pricy for the amount that you get.

Soothe and Smooth
This Serum truly surprised me! It is a medium weight serum with a creamy texture and I totally expected stickiness on my face after use. However, it absorbed into my clean face quite fast. It was easy to smooth out and I did not have the company night cream to I used nothing over this serum. Next morning, skin still soft and smooth. I am anxious to try other products from this company and a favorite because MADE IN THE USA! Good for my skin and a good representation of American made products!

Nice but pricey
It is a small tube for $40 dollar. The scent is very light, big plus. The serum is a thinner milky consistency that absorbs quickly. No greasy feel. Leaves skin soft and silky. Overall nice but pricey.

Certainly lightweight; efficacy of ingredients is tbd
When I shop for any products that will be use on/in my body, I try to make sure that the ingredients within have verified scientific proof that they help. Then I compare them to other similar products that I’ve used.My first impression was not great. The packaging is lo-fi, but not in the way that some brands do clean, understated design – this is just sort of undercooked. The term “desert milk” is not one that I’m merely unfamiliar; a quick google shows no other mentions of it, and it feels a bit gibberish-y to me.I was surprised how light/watery this is. I suppose a “serum” should have a different expected quality than a lotion etc. You can see the first ingredient is water, and the experience is largely watery. This may be to be expected, but I don’t have as much experience with this sort of product.I was also struck by the odd packaging. It comes in a box that’s the same height as the bottle you see depicted. However, under that cap is a pump nozzle! So you can see fully a fifth of the height of that bottle is not actually product. It’s only 40ml. I’ve never seen a pump nozzle on the “bottom” of a bottle, but I suppose it obviates the need for a straw inside? To me it just felt mostly deceptive. You’d think most bottles of this orientation would just have a hole at the bottom and you’d squeeze. This perhaps is too watery for that, though.

Soothes & Hydrates My Dry, Sensitive Skin▪️Skin Is Ultra Soft▪️Lacks Fragrance & Harsh Chemicals
Gemini Beauty Barrier Recovery Serum is a white, creamy serum that’s fragrance free. I apply this serum before my face cream, and it absorbs quickly and feels calming to my dry, sensitive, mature skin. This serum feels so lightweight I wasn’t sure I’d notice much difference, but it definitely boosts hydration and plumps my skin. As a result, my fine lines are minimized and my skin appears smoother.I also noticed right away that this serum makes my skin texture feel ultra soft. I feel it does “soothe and smooth” as claimed, and I appreciate that it’s formulated with beneficial anti aging, hydrating and soothing ingredients. Also, everything in this currently gets a “great” or “good” Paula’s Choice rating, so the risk for irritation seems very low. This is gentle, helps revive my dry skin and is good for strengthening the skin barrier. Love it. 5 stars.

Sometimes a little watery?
Comes in tube with pump on the end. Is a white liquid which most of the time is like a lotion but every so often, it seems more watery and then when you pump, it spits it out with more force (even spitting onto the wall once). Not much scent. When applied to face, didn’t notice any tackiness or shine. Liked how it felt. When I applied a cream on top, noticed that the cream sat on face much longer than normal. It seems this serum did leave a layer on skin. Eventually cream absorbed and face felt normal again. Didn’t try with different creams to see if it made a difference in absorption. Overall, kind of like. Probably more like 3.5 stars. Didn’t like that it seemed to separate a bit (sometimes thicker lotion like and other times more watery) but did like the no shine and non-tacky look and feel.
