Delightful Shower Steamers!
These Bare Botanics Shower Steamers are wonderful! Such a nice scent to them, minty and fresh. It lifts the spirits. I love that these are made in the USA with a commitment to the quality of the ingredients, I have no qualms about using these at all, (and in the past I have been iffy on other shower steamers I have tried. ) The only issue I had with these is that they tend to be dusty and that dust was all over the outside of the container they came in and all over everything else as well- very bothersome! These definitely need to be wrapped up better, the outside of the box they come in at least. And the other thing to know is that there is only the eight you see in photo, that is not a double layer of shower steamers. The description does say this, that this is only 8 steamers. Just something I thought worth pointing out, so that you know what you are getting here. These shower steamer tablets- you set on the floor of the shower, just outside of the direct spray from the shower, and they just sort of melt away as you shower, emitting the lovely eucalyptus aroma. It is very spa-like. They are thick cubes, but they melt away at the proper rate, one cube lasted me one shower. I would definitely order these again.

Great shower steamers
These smell great! I sprinkled a bit of water on one to get it started and then stuck it in the back of my shower so it didn’t dissolve quickly. It ended up lasting 3 showers though you could tell the scent had faded a lot by the last one. It was good for the first one and decent for the second one though so I count that as a win. There’s no artificial dyes in these so no staining the shower. Lol actually since these are baking soda based, I used what was left of it at the end to scrub some stain spots out of the shower floor hahahaha double uses I guess.I removed half a star for the packaging which causes some baking soda/grain spillage and half a star for the scent as I thought it could be stronger as I’ve definitely experienced stronger scented ones in the past. All in all these are great though and would recommend them

Love the smell!!!
Very strong sinus clearing scent which is amazing btw. Just what you want in a shower steamer. They are very luxurious compared to some cheaper ones I’ve bought that come wrapped up in cheap colorful foil. They also aren’t artificially colored, they are just whitish so they won’t stain your shower or tub. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase these again. They do just come in a small box which I’ve left them in, if that’s not ok with you, you’ll have to have something to store them in, they do get a little messy with some powder that comes off.

Messy even Before Use
I was looking forward to trying these. I’m now looking forward to finding someone who will take them off of my hands.1. I love the look of these and the idea behind them.2. They are aesthetically pleasing and would look nice in a class jar in the bathroom3. The scent is strong out of the box. Too strong for me. I wiped away the powder that spilled when I got them, but the scent was so strong, I had to put the steamer box in another room them use wipes to remove the smell.4. For the company: please rethink your packaging. I received a mess. I’m happy I pulled the produced from the bag rather than dumping it out. There was as much powder floating in the padded envelope as was all over my table and me.

Like the scent, not the mess
I get it that reducing plastic is the way to go, and I appreciate that the tablets aren’t individually wrapped. But the storage box itself could really use a wrap, as the tablets are very dusty. They shed white powder on everything they come in contact with, until I finally placed the box in a Ziploc. After that, it was smooth sailing and they smelled nice in my shower.

Very refreshing
I tried the Lemon/Orange and Bergamot/Mint and both smell great. The tablets are a good size and each one lasts around 20 minutes, which is plenty of time for a relaxing shower. They work super well when placed just outside the main water stream, letting the scent slowly build as the steam rises. I like how clean and natural the fragrance feels without being overpowering. It’s a nice little boost in the morning or even after a long day. Overall, these have made my showers feel more like a mini spa break.

Packaging needs work
These shower steamers are super minty when I was looking forward to citrusy bergamot with a hint of mint. It’s now bad, just not what I expected. The instructions are clear and since I put it in a breathable soap bag to hang up (small walk-in shower means most spots get direct water) the stranger didn’t break down quickly. The only thing I’m peeved about is that the powder got all over other items, including a fabric hair accessory; as others have mentioned, individually wrapping these would be better even though I totally get that the reasoning is to create less unrecyclable waste.

Poorly packaged
These steamers work well and have a nice sharp mint smell.They are poorly packaged. I opened the amazon box that had about four other items in it, all covered in a light dusting of minty powder. The box they are in, is a two-piece simple cardboard where one sits on the other like a lid, and it is taped closed. A few were partially broken, not catastrophically, but enough to create a lot of loose powder that is not contained in the box. When I did open the actual box, I got an eye-watering release of the substance into the room. It’s definitely minty and the bergamont rounds it out! But I’d rather release that just as I’m getting into the shower, not in the rest of my house.On the one hand, I appreciate when companies make an effort to ditch plastic. On the other hand, this is something that really should be very secure and ideally, air-tight.
