Encouraging results in 7 days
I have been using this serum for 7 days and I am happy enough with the results to keep going to see the long term results. This is not an instant facelift/miracle cream/key to the fountain of youth. What it is, is a reliable serum that slowly improves your skin over time. I was not given any kind of incentive or free product to post this review. I selected this serum to try after researching what type of product I wanted and reading all the reviews on this item. My results after 7 days is encouraging.Let me start by saying I am extremely picky about what I will put on my face. I am in my mid 40’s, with super sensitive, super fair combination skin. I hate the feel of anything heavy on my skin and cosmetics, moisturizers and sunblock all tend to give me rashes. I don’t wear foundation, only light spot concealer where needed. I am dealing with dark circles and puffiness under my eyes, millia on my upper eyelids and the sides of the bridge of my nose, blackheads and enlarged pores on my nose and dry red patches on my cheeks. Overall my skin just looks tired. The only face wash and moisturizer I have been able to use without causing breakouts and rashes is Trader Joes Nourish face wash and moisturizer.So for the last seven days I have washed my face and neck morning and evening with my regular face wash, put on this serum and followed with my regular moisturizer. I have not used any other masks or skin care products. I am already seeing a slow improvement to all of my skin complaints. The most dramatic improvement is to the dry patches on my cheeks (they are gone) and an overall evening of my skin tone. Everything just looks and feels smoother and my patchy red problem areas are lightening up and blending in. The millia on my eyelids seem to be reducing. They look and feel flatter. My enlarged pores look smaller and I am seeing a change to the dark circles under my eyes. The puffiness is gone, and while I do still have dark circles, they seem to be lightening up and more easily hidden with light concealer. Instead of the really dark purplish bruise look I had a week ago, they seem to have a lighter reddish pinkish purple color that doesn’t extend as far under my eyes.So. This is not a miracle cure, but I have seen enough of an improvement in my skin to keep using this daily and see if it keeps improving.

Best serum I have tried so far
Here we go… I waited a couple of weeks before speaking so that I could post a more scientific review. I have been applying this twice a day, first thing in the morning and before I go to sleep at night. When using serum, ALWAYS remove your makeup and cleanse your face first. You want to let the formula really sink into your skin. Sleeping with makeup on will clog your pores anyway. This serum comes with a dropper for easy application. Then I like to use my fingertips to gently sweep it across my skin. Nothing magical happened the first morning. (Despite what the Internet may say, no serum is going to give you Wonder Skin after one application.) But after the first 48 hours, I started noticing a difference in my T-zone area. I am usually pretty oily there and no amount of facial masks has been able to keep the whiteheads away. Very gross, I know. By now (week three) I am seeing obvious results. Face is smoother, pores are noticeably tighter, and skin in general just feels healthy. Wears great under makeup, too. Vitamin C is one of the hottest serums on the market for a reason. Not only does it prevent sun-damage, it can actually restore tired skin back its to healthy, beautiful state. Will this serum give you perfect skin overnight? Nope. Has it become an essential part of my daily skin routine? Absolutely. Protect your faces, ladies (and gentleman if you’re reading this). Prevention is the #1 key to staying young and healthy. This serum is affordable and effective and it smells good and citrusy, which is just a plus. Give it a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Affordable and Effective! [Unpaid Review]
UNPAID REVIEW: This serum has vastly improved my skin in the four and a half months I’ve been using it. I was looking for a cheap vitamin C serum to see if it would brighten and even my skin tone enough to convince me to plunk down more money on a pricier, presumably better serum. I’m translucently pale and get small hyperpigmentation spots (not quite freckles, but not a tan) easily in the summer despite my diligent use of sunblock. However, I noticed within a week of using this serum, and making no other changes in my routine, that my skin tone was more even and some of my splotching was reduced. After a few months, I’m happy that this has exceeded all my expectations – my skin looks better than it has in ages despite my having spent a lot of time outdoors this summer, and I’ve noticed increased elasticity and somewhat diminished fine lines. I even think my (genetic, hyperpigmentation) undereye circles are looking slightly better.I see that some people don’t like the scent of this product; I LOVE the scent and it’s one of the reasons I stick with this brand – it’s botanical in the same way a lot of Aveda products are. The only downside of this product is I find I go through it quite fast, though I’m somewhat generous with the amount I use and use it both before sunscreen in the morning and before moisturizer at night. However, given how affordable this is, it’s not much of an issue if I go through one every two months.Needless to say, I’m no longer planning to upgrade.
