Great for Winifred Sanderson costume!
I dressed up as Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus. I didn’t want one of those cheap-looking Halloween wigs with tangled, plasticy hair and awful hair lines, so I searched for something better quality but affordable. When I came across this wig, I knew I could work some magic on it and come out with a great look within my budget, and it did not disappoint.I selected the Orange Copper color. For styling, I started by running my fingers through the curls to pull out the tight ringlets. It took a little time because there is a substantial amount of hair! Next, I sprayed dry shampoo throughout to cut down any sheen from it being synthetic and to give it a more natural-looking a matte finish. I sprayed a little extra at the root area which gave a highlight affect like Bette Midler’s hair in the movie. I then cut short some of the strands framing the sides of my face to create a natural hair line and to better camouflage the wig edges. I styled the wig into the character’s signature hairstyle, using small claw clips and strong-hold hair spray to keep it in place (it’s thick enough that bobby pins didn’t hold it well). Lastly, I cut short quite a bit of hair at the nap which looked good with the style I was going for and hid the wig’s back edges from where I had the hair pulled up.Re sizing, I had the wig adjusted to the loosest setting, and it fit perfect. I have a smallish head, so I’d think it would be a pretty snug fit on larger heads. I really liked the mesh wig cap they included—it stayed in place and was comfortable.This wig really made my look, and I can’t recommend it enough for the quality and the price!

Wish the top had a more realistic parting/scalp line
PROS:To be honest, this wig is gorgeous. From the curls, color, shape, length and density. I’ve seen some disappointed and dissatisfied reviews about the hair but I personally think it’s a pretty good wig. It suits me soo well. I’m a vet wig wearer (both human hair and synthetics) so I know when a wig is worthy of buying. Also got the blue/purple mix version of this wig, the top is even weirder than this one. Sticks up despite all attempts to press it down. It’s so annoying. That aside, it’s a good wig.CONS:My only issue with this wig is the top. First of all, the front part of the top has a bit of tangly/spongy looking hair texture when compared to the more back part of the top that has the luscious shiny curls. It’s just weird (and kinda annoying) that they’d mix the hair texture like that but whatever.Secondly, when you look at synthetic wigs on Shein and Aliexpress for example, they have a natural fake parting/scalp line. Whether it’s curly or wavy or straight wigs, most of them (especially Shein cosplay/anime wigs) have that nice scalp parting. I wish this wig had that natural looking scalp parting instead of the circular top that looks kinda weird if you examined closely. Luckily it’s not that big of a deal if you know you can rock the hair and are aware that it suits your face. And plus, who’s really gonna be trying to look at the top of your head?Overall, it’s a great buy for me. I fluffed out the curls a bit to give it a fuller, natural look. It’s soft to the touch and I suggest you guys maintain the curls with some wig spray/oil. Also, don’t sleep with it: just see on a wig band for glueless method install so you can conveniently put it on and take it off whenever you want. Anyway, this wig gets 4 stars for the the lack of scalp parting and weird mixed hair texture at the top. I hope the vendors really read reviews so they revise the designs of these wigs for future consumer purchases.
