This book is written for the semi-knowledgable cosmetician.It was simple to follow, but I could not locate all of the ingredients in sufficient quantities to make my products cost effective.If I am going to spend that much money, someone else can make the products for me.Other than that, it did give me a good overview on what I can do with the ingredients that I have. The lip balm is not something I will do again.

If you can find ingredients and are rich. That being said, some look wonderful – especially the lavender body scrub, the ant- aging face cream (one of the more expensive ones with several oils you do not have in your kitchen) and the men’s after shave cream. The last one I am definitely making, the first one, today.

Good, Easy Recipes!
There are some very good recipes in this little book. All are easy to make and don’t require a hundred different ingredients — thank goodness. I definitely recommend as it is well worth the purchase.

Habe dieses Buch als Geschenk gekauft und die Beschenkte ist vollkommen zufrieden. Sie hat bereits mehrere Rezepte ausprobiert und dadurch auch Anregungen zur eigenen Entwicklung von Cremes etc erhalten. Einen Stern Abzug gebe ich nur weil das Buch von der Aufmachung her nicht besonders gelungen ist. Die Rezepte stehen einfach pro Seite aufgelistet, ohne Bilder oder weitere Erläuterungen.
