Customers say

Customers find the adhesive spray to be a good value. However, the adhesive strength and functionality receive mixed reviews – while some say it sticks well and works great, others report it’s not sticky at all and is unusable. Moreover, the spray consistency is problematic as it comes out in clumps, and customers report sticky residue left behind. Additionally, customers disagree on how well it works for stenciling, with some finding it great for stenciling while others say it’s not ideal for wall stenciling.

    I love aileens brand
This spray is very very tacky. I needed something that would temporarily hold items in place. This spray does not release well. The glue comes with it leaving your product very sticky. It is possible this glue is not meant to release. There are some Spray glues that are temporary. Aileens glue is my go to for any craft because I know I can’t count on it to get the job done.

It’s a great way to make stenciling easier!
Aleene’s craft show was my favorite show when it was on, and all her products were and are high quality. This repositionable adhesive spray dries fast, sticks well, is worth the price and has many different uses besides sticking down stencils. It’s a champion of versatility and great performance.

Did Not Work for my Mat
I bought this because of people on YouTube saying it was good to make the mat sticky again, in my case for my Brother ScanNCut. The ball was really rattling around when I shook it like it was in an empty can. Makes me wonder how old this can is. After shaking around a while, I sprayed a light coat over my mat in a large box outside on my porch (never spray this inside around your own lungs or your pets and birds!) and left it outside to dry for hours. Fortunately I had thought to use blue tape all around the edges so that the spray would only go onto the mat where it needed to stick because the tape was coated with a sticky mess. After pulling off the tape I applied my paper to cut and put it through. It was impossible to get the paper off, it shredded and parts are still stuck to my mat. Fortunately I had purchased a new mat or I would have had to stop my project there. I don’t know if the age of the product makes the difference but what I paid for and received was useless for my purpose.

    Four stars because
I gave this spray a 4-star becuase I thought it was going to spray wider. instead, it sprays more direct. Direct is not that good because if you not using self-adhesive stencils it will go under the stencil and your dooooomed day if it sprays underneath will come out Acquard. No but it does spray direct not to widen the spray. would be better if it did spray a tad wider and not so direct.

    Best I’ve used
Allows time for readjustment, doesn’t get clogged and cost less than other more known products

    Good and bad
I couldn’t stencil the wall without this. Being able to reuse multiple times was a game changer cause painter tape just wouldn’t have worked. I am also so lucky I decided to test before just trying to apply this to the wall I wanted. The spray isn’t even and kinda spat out of the can. After letting it sit for 5 minutes after spraying and applying to the test wall. It left bits of glue on the wall when I pulled off. But when I removed and reapplied to another part of the wall it seemed okay. So I knew that’s what I had to do going forward. However, make sure you DO NOT use on week old painted walls because it will tear the paint. We had to do a lot of touch ups to fill them back in and luckily pattern mostly distracts from it, but if you know where the issues where you can see the pock marks where it was touched up.

Cricuit & Silhouette newbies and veterans – So many uses like saving your mat
Not only does this product dry clear and it’s repositional. Spray a light coating on your mats if they start to lose their tacky ness and you’ve got a new mat. Depending on the color, it depends on how close or far you need to stand from it. You don’t want to turn light grip into super. It’s a life saver. On SO MANY LEVELS.The non repositional “tacky glue” is AMAZING. Personally my favorite spray glue. I used to do photography. The old darkroom kind. And this is the best brand. Again, if you are not used to using spray adhesive. The trick is how far or close you stand from your project. You will get it down. The permanent glue is amazing. It dries clear. Made my own envelopes. There were places I had to spray all over but the way it was cut, there were odd flaps…any ways…I kept it propped open. And it dried amazingly.A must have. Both kinds.
