Customers say
Customers report positive results with this acne treatment mask, noting real improvement in severe acne and its effectiveness as a spot treatment for cystic acne. Moreover, the mask cleans well and works similarly to Pro-Active products. However, the product receives mixed feedback regarding its drying effect, with some customers finding it very drying while others say it doesn’t dry out their face noticeably. Additionally, customers report mixed experiences with skin burn, with some experiencing redness and inflammation while others report no issues. Moreover, the product has a sulfur smell that customers find unpleasant, and customers disagree on the size, with some appreciating that it shrinks blemishes while others find it too small for the price.

Great for ultra sensitive skin like mine
Great for ultra sensitive combination skin like mine. It was easy to wash off after waiting about 10 minutes, and I could feel my pores and see them tighter. At first I was hesitant to use it because I have had issues in the past trying new products that really irritate my skin but I did a patch test first and then I used it on my whole face and I’m very pleased.

Effective Pore-Clearing Mask That Really Works!
The AcneFree Acne Clearing Mask works great at unclogging pores — you can actually see it pulling out oil and gunk! I mainly use it on my nose to keep stubborn whiteheads away, and it’s been super effective. It has no bad odor, applies smoothly, and is really easy to use. Definitely a go-to for targeting oily areas and keeping pores clear!

Fast results but doesn’t change color as indicated
I noticed a great improvement after just one use. So far I’ve used it four times, 2 days in a row took a day off and another two days in a row. My breakouts have lessened greatly and my skin isn’t as oily. I also purchased the acne free sulfur face wash that I have used one a day. Combining the this product, the sulfur face wash and my usual panoxyl 10% face wash my face is looking great and far less oily. I haven’t even had this product a week but I’m already writing a review because it works so well. The only issue is no matter how much you scrub the mask doesn’t turn blue. It goes on white and stays white. The bottle is also very, very small which is why I deducted a star. Overall very happy, just wish it came in a bigger bottle!

Best thing for my random breakouts
This stuff has worked wonders for any breakouts that I’ve gotten. I have the most sensitive skin too and this doesn’t burn or sting. I can put it on before bed and my zit will be gone in the morning. Even if I can see just blackheads, if I put this on the area, when I wake up, my skin is clearer the next day. I’ve tried multiple sulfur products and this one seems to work the best. It does have a darker blue tint than some other brands, but it doesn’t stain my pillowcases or anything. It really has been the best one I’ve tried so far, too. I think this is the fourth or fifth time I’ve ordered it from Amazon, and no matter which other ones I try, I keep going back to this one. It doesn’t over-dry my skin either, which is a huge deal for me since my skin is dry anyways. I’ve even given this to my husband to try for his breakouts and he likes it too! It really works well! I am always worried I won’t be able to find this miracle product one day…

GREAT product, terrible packaging
First of all, this product is GREAT for people who suffer with chronic acne/oily skin issues (unless you are allergic to sulfur). It tightens pores and is wonderful as an overall mask or just spot-treatment. It would rate 5 starts…However!Inevitably the tube splits at the bottom and causes the product to dry up and be useless. Typically I get to use half or less of the product which is unfortunate and makes it more expensive. I’d rather pay a *little* more for better packaging instead of doubling the cost by being forced to buy it twice as much.Other than that issue, this really has been one of the BEST products for my complexion!

It does turn blue!
Edit: This review only applies to the old formula of this product. The new formula I just received does not turn blue at all. This listing makes it sound like the mask turns blue on its own after it sits on your skin for a while – this is not the case. The comments make it sounds like the mask doesn’t turn blue at all – this is also not the case. The mask turns blue (and needs to turn blue to be fully activated), but you must follow the right steps. The instructions on the package have you apply the mask to wet skin (important) and massage it until the mask turns blue. You then leave the blue mask on for 10 minutes before washing it off. What happens is that there are little blue beads in the mask. The water on your skin of pressure of massaging crushes/dissolves these little blue beads and mixes them with white portion of the mask to turn it a light sky blue. Sometimes you need to find and intentionally crush the little blue beads with your fingers. Mixing the blue beads into the white portion of the mask activates the ingredients – the mask is not as effective if it is not fully activated. It is a small bottle and the mask is a thick consistency. However, applying it to a wet face does make the amount go further than you’d think. With that PSA out of the way I’d like to say that this mask has been a game changer for my skin. I’m currently using it daily on my whole face and I’m seeing real improvement in my severe acne. I may be able to use it less often to maintain once my skin is clear.

Works well
It’s a great dupe for a cream that’s like $100

Helped clear up my hormonal acne flareup quickly
I bought this mask while desperately searching for a spot treatment for my hormonal acne. My acne has flared up lately – I’m the type to usually have one active pimple a month, but lately it’s skyrocketed to about 3 active pimples at a time. (Maybe not so bad for most acne-prone skin, but I didn’t know how to deal with it!) I was wary that the mask would smell like sulfur – it has a FAINT smell but not enough to bother me, even when it was applied around my nose. I tried this mask for 5 nights in a row, massaged it into wet skin for a few minutes and then let it dry for a few minutes before taking it off (never letting it fully dry), and the results were amazing! Obviously it didn’t clear up my acne 100% overnight, and I wasn’t expecting that, but it did work faster than expected. Not only did it reduce the size and appearance of any active spots, it also helped fade the appearance of some post-breakout marks. I used the mask only on problem areas for the first 2 nights, then used it all over my face the next 3 for exfoliating benefits. It never dried out my face noticeably, but I did follow up the mask with CeraVe moisturizing cream and rosehip oil every night. Overall I’m really satisfied with the product – it worked better than expected and has consistently provided good results so far.

My skin is oily and i ve always had blackbeads and acne. I am very satisfied with the results use after use… Less acne less blackheads.
Buyer –
Unless your skin is too oily, this product will dry your skin out.
