Close even shave!
I like this product because it does exactly as it said. I have wanted for a long time to change up my shaving routine so i went towards this. I am glad i did! Much more comfort in the shave. Much better and closer shave. And a much greater confidence in myself and my appearance. I encourage any who are serious about a great shave to purchase this shaving brush. It works! Period

Real badger is debatable
I’ve been using badger brushes for 5 years. This one looks, feels, and smells synthetic. I have it compared to a higher end badger brush in the pic. The wood handle is nice. Overall: it’s a good deal for an ok brush. Starter brush for new shavers. Deducted 2 stars for claims of 100 percent badger.

Great shaving brush for the price. Fits in your hand nicely.
The bristles stay soft and absorbent. There is not much shedding that occurs. I keep mine in the open, either on a stand or upright on a flat surface. Dries quickly with proper maintenance.Brush has remained thick and very close to original size.

They were good for a while but after a few months, each would shed bristles so much that I was shaving off more badger hair from my face than my own whiskers.

Does the job
This is a fine shave brush; it’s a bit on the small side, and could be used as a travel brush for your dopp kit, but it works well for daily shaving. The handle is big enough to get a good grip. The bristles do not smell like some natural brushes…but even if they did, that goes away after several shaves. I put some Proraso in my shave bowl and it whipped up plenty of lather for two passes. I could feel the bristles, which I like. They stimulate the beard. I’m not a fan of synthetic brushes. And the price is right. You can spend an enormous amount on shaving brushes, and some people collect them, but I don’t see the point. This is perfectly fine for wet shaving, particularly on a budget.
