Have worn short hair styles for 40 years, and this is my go- to for texture and style. Only takes a small amount on fingertips – then style using fingers, hair stays in place. Good value for the money. Washes out easily.

“I like it for my hair but I do not love it for my hair type”…
My hair is 80s’ bowl do material when it comes to how much body my hair has. If my hair is medium long or more and I use zero hair styling product it would result in a flat as a pancake “80s’s bowl do USA action”.Inside the container you might think you cracked open a 1970s’ orange pearl iridescent bowling ball by the looks of it. It is shiny and pearly and orange in color.The SNIFF is of ORANGE but it also has a cologne/fragrance sniff to it so it is not a pure orange fruit smell. I like it because I love orange, lemon, grapefruit citrus smells but I wish it were more pure 100% orange fruit only.The HOLD is super LIGHT especially for my 5% to 10% body bowl do type straight hair. And that is with my newly cut 3MM buzz cut and I can still tell this has barely any hold if any. If your hair is SHORT and has BODY this could work for you but do not expect it to provide much control.After application it leaves my hair very SOFT to the touch. It doesn’t even really feel like you have product in or barely anything at all.It applies easily on clean slightly damp hair. It has good value for the price I paid and the portion size.The SHINE appears to be MEDIUM plus towards high shine but it is harder to tell when your hair is 3MM.Because my hair has almost no body this is not an ideal product. When my hair gets to 5MM plus it is nice to have some control so I can shape the top a little and do a mini mini fauxhawk style. And even if I go to a longer buzz cut it looks nicer when the hair follicles are more upright and stiff versus soft and flat looking.

Will last me forever. It dries pretty fast and perfect to style a spiky doo. Easy to use and because it works so well the less you have to use.

Strong men’s deodorant odor
I just received this product today and used it for the first time and it works perfectly. My only complaint is the strong smell. It smells like men’s deodorant. I didn’t notice anyone complaining of the smell or the product description mentioning the odor but it is very strong and I’m going to have to look for an unscented replacement. Otherwise, it works as described.

I purchased Shine pomade for my dry ends and it feels great. My hair looks more full and elastic, ends are not so fizzy as usual and this pomade is weightless, not sticky or gluey. Nice gentle smell, not overpowering my perfume. Great purchase for the price.
