I have been using Dermacontrol face mask since 2019, right around the start of the pandemic, so I’m an old pro at this. I am 56, have combination skin (but more oily in the warmer months) and have tried my share of other face masks. Ever since I discovered this one, it’s my ONLY go-to because it does what it says it does, it’s affordable and Cetaphil really is a leader in skincare.I’ve seen some images in other reviews where all you see is white. Like the mask is way thicker than it needs to be. So let me tell you how I use it and if you try it, you’ll find the results are just the same and you use far less product. One jar lasts me almost 4 months, and that’s with regular use.PUT IT ON LIKE LOTION. Let me say that again for the people in the back.📣 Put it on like lotion.Use the little spatula and take out just a little bit, like half of the tip of the little spatula. Spread that onto one cheek, then MASSAGE IT IN LIKE LOTION. As the instructions say, you want just a thin layer. Having a heap of it just sitting on top of your skin isn’t more effective. By rubbing it in like lotion, it really gets into the pores.Now, do the same for the other cheek and then the forehead and chin. Of course, don’t forget to go over your nose and upper lip. Let sit and then rinse.That’s it. You’ll be saving money and wasting less.You’ll see in my photo that it as it dries, my skin is barely white. Because I’m massaging it over my face, it’s getting into my pores to do the dirty work so there’s less product just gunked up on my face. When I rinse, my skin is baby soft and ready for serum and moisturizer.Also, sidebar, *the spatula isn’t meant to be used to SPREAD the product*. It’s only to keep the mask sanitary and keep you from having to scoop it out with your fingers, getting it all under your nails. What a waste of product if not for the spatula. You use it to scoop out the product then swipe it off onto your face. Then rinse it off and put it away.I really hope this helps you get the most out of this most wonderful product. When used this way, you only need to purchase about 3 or 4 jars per year. I use it more in the summer months when I’m more oily but that’s still a good deal.Go forth and be pretty!

Gentle and effective
Generally, this works well. It’s a good product for the price point.I cleanse and dry my skin before using this.Pros:- gentle and effective- great price point- makes skin feel soft- it doesn’t over-dry and Crack on skinCons:- it takes a ridiculous amount of water to remove it… Much more than any other clay mask I’ve ever used. I have to use a face wash to completely remove it.I use it once a week.I’m on the fence about repurchasing… I might try another brand next time until I find one I absolutely love.

I have an oily T zone and this mask is AMAZING at getting rid of extra oil with making your skin feel dry. I recommend using this maximum once a week and also put on a nice hydration mask afterward.Truly a great product and worth the price!

I needed a good clay face mask. I read the reviews that said it was not a full jar. I took a chance because I like Cetaphil products. Yes it was not filled to the very top but there was a lot in the jar and it is the perfect clay mask. My skin is always so smooth and it is easy to wash off.

I was surprised that my package came in as early as expected from the delivery date, which I’m not mad about. However, when I opened my package, there was a plastic wrap that was supposed to cover the Cetaphil box. It looked like the plastic wrap was supposed to cover three boxes. I’m unsure if Amazon received a shipment of a 3-pack of the Cetaphil Purifying Clay Mask when doing inventory. It looked like they were in a rush to get my package to delivery. After removing the opened plastic wrap, the box was slightly dented, but it was not bad. I excepted the jar to be bigger because the picture they have posted here looked kind of deceiving. The good thing I get to say about the Cetaphil purifying clay mask is that the clay came in clean and not dirty. It looked like no body touched it. The clay mask filled the whole jar, but it looked like it’s been filled half way. It did came with a special wrapped with plastic. I did used the clay mask the moment I got it. I used the spatula that it came with. I’m not a big fan of the spatula and decided to use my fingers to spread the clay. The spatula felt cheap when I spread the clay to my face. The clay itself looked smooth and felt soft to my face. It did not hardened at all, except for the burning sensation. In some clay mask, you’ll feel some kind of burning sensation. It did felt unpleasant. I had trouble washing the clay off because I did not follow the instructions to put it on in thin layers. I used thick layers of the clay. Even though the drying time is between 5-10 minutes, I waited at least 5 minutes for the clay to sort of dry. Overall, I expected better from Cetaphil. I love their lotions, but not the clay. What I paid for is not worth for the amount that I got for 3 ounces. I expected the jar to be bigger with more product. The reason why I chose this product is because I’m on a budget. The THANN detoxifying clay mask Is what I used to buy and it is more sensitive skin friendly. If I get to choose between Cetaphil and THANN, I would go for THANN because you get what you paid for (bigger jar, better skin benefits, and sensitive-skin friendly).

I like it more than you’re normal mix it yourself bentonite aztec powder. It doesn’t leave your skin dry.However, it looks small in amount once received but remember it’s only supposed to be like 85g or something, so it’s not supposed to be a lot anyway. It’s still worth it just the tub doesn’t look full.

Really soaks up the oil on your skin. If you suffer with oily skin, this is a god send. I only had to use this once a month because it lasted so long with the oil on my skin that I was really surprised at how well this worked. Amazing

Produkt ist angenehm. Verpackung deutet an, dass Produkt viel größer ist als es tatsächlich ist. Spatel ist völlige Plastikverschwendung. Null Mehrwert, Mensch kann einfach seine Hände nutzen. Kaufen nächstes Mal andere Marke, wegen der genannten Gründe.
