My Go-To Under Eye Concealer
I have thin skin just under my eyes, so that ‘blue-ish undereye circle thing’ is very visible, and it drives me nuts. I like this concealer because it is inexpensive, I don’t need a lot of it, and it is simple to blend/tap on with my finger. It covers the blue-ish circles just enough as a good ‘base’ before my foundation. It is a bit ‘greasy’ too, but not in a bad way. In a way that makes it moisturizing and not ‘sit’ in my fine-but-still-there undereye wrinkles. One tube lasts me forever.

Like many cosmetics with the lipstick shape/design the one I bought was already “weak” when I first opened it. Every time I use it I think it’s going to break. I think another style or design would be better – maybe like a single eye shadow “pot”.I like this shade much better than the light green I had been using (I think I needed some instruction on what colors to use where.) Yellow cover stick blends well – great for scrapes/bleeding under the skin or bruises
We older folk get spots or “scrapes” on our arms which are a type of bleeding under the skin. This Maybelline Yellow cover stick does a great job hiding these. (Plus using any cover stick will help them to heal and disappear at a faster rate than doing nothing. I put it on extra-thick at bedtime.)Likewise it will speed the healing of regular bruises. And just in general it blends well and covers most discolorations. The stick looks quite yellow, but when applied it is more “flesh” colored, blending right in.

Works great but came broken on the bottom 😔
The more with age,the more the stubborn dark circles. Regular foundation and other concealers were too noticeable and made the under of my eyes dry. I remember using this yrs ago so I decided to give it another shot.I should have listened to the more than one complaints on how theirs came broken and/or a little melted. But I ordered anyways,thinking that it had to be impossible to have that same thing happen more than 3+ xs.Boy was I wrong! I even grabbed it as soon as it was delivered. And when I opened it,the very bottom was broken. It still works but I have to either put it on with my finger,or dab it on very lightly so it won’t totally snap off.Besides that,it works great,esp added to under eye cream so it doesn’t look dry. Somexs I even put it in the freezer so I can use it properly,but I don’t have x to always rem to do that nor should I.I really think that it breaks and gets a tad melted when it’s in the Amazon truck,esp in the summer heat. With all of the same complaints and people still using it bc it’s such a great product, maybe the cover stick could be stored with some type of small cold pack. Or maybe stored with extra bubble wrap. Just a suggestion bc it seems like this happens WAY too much. But that’s just me,an avid buyer on Amazon🤷 And these reviews are suppose to help make the product better or help Amazon get others to buy their products. Right?

Great for melasma!!
I have melasma. This product has been the best for coverage and color correction I’ve found. I’ve been using it for a few years and it’s an absolute necessity in my make-up bag. I use the yellow because typical concealers turn my brown melasma purple. Like literally people tell me I have eyeshadow all over my face. Other yellow color correcting concealers didn’t have a thick enough coverage or wore off really fast.I put it on the areas that have dark spots. For the really bad areas I do not rub it it. I dab with a makeup sponge or my fingers to blend the edges. Then I put on liquid matte makeup only I avoid the chin and forehead because I like the lighter color of the stick to work as a highlight. But over my upper lip and under my nose I will dab the makeup over the concealer so it won’t be highlighted. Then I lightly brush around the edges of where the concealer is to avoid a line between the 2 colors. Finish with powder and it’s great.

Why pay more
I have used Maybelline concealer stick for years. I have tried the fancy more expensive concealers but none have ever worked better for dark spots and undereye circles than Maybelline. Why pay a lot more for a big name when Maybelline does the job as well or better.

I was delighted to find I could get it on Amazon. Although the seller is based in the U.S.A delivery was quite quick, and product was well packed.
