Now this is great stuff
Restless legs are the bane of bedtime for me; I can’t count the hours of sleep I’ve lost because of it. I discovered magnesium spray oil last year, though, and it has helped immensely. I saw this and decided to see if it would work as well.If I have one quibble here, it’s that the product gives no guidance on dosage. A measure of X mg magnesium per Y teaspoons would be helpful in avoiding getting too much and in repeatability. I estimate I applied about a teaspoon to each foot, working it into the soles, instep, and ankles for a few minutes. It doesn’t dry as quickly as oil does, though it did feel good on my cracked heels. It also takes longer to absorb than the oil; but when it did, it was wonderful. It started with the familiar gentle tingling about fifteen minutes after application. That graduated to the all-over relaxation and lessening of the need to move the legs I’ve come to associate with topical magnesium.I’ve tried other megnesium cream and gotten nothing from them. This stuff is real.[Edit] There is dosage guidance in big lettering, right at the top of the rear label; I don’t why my eyes slid right over that. 250mg magnesium per teaspoon.

Way above and beyond my expectations.
I ordered this because I have heard magnesium pills are great for sleep, but since I don’t want to deal with the side effects, I figured why not try a cream? I chose lavender since that is relaxing as well and being such a bad sleeper, I need all the help I can get. The jar of cream itself was smaller than I expected and the foil on top was hard to peel off and most of the cream was all on one side from the way it had been laying, making the jar look it wasn’t holding a lot. A little did go a long way as I rubbed it into my calves as suggested but I didnt want it on my feet. I can’t stand the feeling of lotion when it gets between my toes. My call was almost immediately started tingling in a really nice, relaxing way and the lavender scent was very subtle. I don’t know if I fell asleep quicker than normal but it definitely helped make me feel relaxed. I definitely recommend this for anyone who needs a little help relaxing before sleep. I truly enjoyed it.

Works well
Jar is about half full. Will most likely last a month if used nightly. Rubs in nicely, quickly absorbed, odorless. A feeling of tiredness is setting in, legs feel relaxed. Quite a bit of ingredients (read them before purchasing.) Made in China.

Great sleep aid
Magnesium cream is my new greatest discovery for a good night’s sleep. Magnesium creams helped me with my leg cramps and restless leg syndrome greatly. This help with my night sleep. Added benefit of lavender in magnesium cream is its soothing effect that is also helpful with sleep. I apply magnesium cream with lavender to my lower legs and chest area every night before going to bed and it greatly help with my sleep. This is a new brand for me but it worked just as well as any other magnesium cream i have used. It is also reasonably priced. Recommended.

Great cream for some good rest
This cream is great for relaxing and sleep. It absorbs well and feels great. It’s even safe for kids. It tingles a bit but after 15 mins it stops. Overall great for a restful night.

Magnesium Cream
My mother in law swears by magnesium so I thought I’d give this a try. I have issues with my legs at night, maybe restless leg, but they just feel “crawly” sometimes and I can keep them still. I have noticed when I take a Epsom salt bath I don’t seem to have those issues, so I thought this might help on those nights that I don’t have time for a soak. So far so good, maybe placebo effect but even if it is, as long as my legs aren’t feeling restless and I feel relaxed its all good. I got the vanilla scented one and it smells very nice. Its not too overpowering and has a light pleasant scent. The cream itself is very moisturizing and soothing. It does take a bit to soak in so I have to leave my legs out the covers until I don’t feel sticky anymore. Happy with this so far.

Product okay but jar half empty
Item seems to work fine for temporary relief, but unlike the picture shown by the seller, my jar was half empty upon opening. Not cool. I paid for 4 oz, not 2.

Could be thicker and doesn’t fully absorb into skin
The jar is super annoying to open because the foil won’t peel off; you have to pierce it with something, then peel it off while it’s covered with product on the inside. Makes a big mess and wastes product. But once it’s open, the jar is nice and wide, so you can easily get inside and scoop out what you need. I got the unscented and I don’t smell anything at all.The label says magnesium cream, but it’s more like a lotion than a cream. It’s thin. I didn’t put much on, only grabbed a little bit on the tips of two fingers. It spreads easily on the skin, but it also doesn’t absorb in all the way. It left a thin white film on top. I think it would leave a heavy, thick coating on your legs if you applied a lot, so you don’t need much! I put my leggings back down and it didn’t feel sticky, but I don’t know if I would want to put this on and then get straight into bed under sheets.Pretty quickly after applying it to my legs, I could feel it “working.” If you’ve ever used IcyHot types of products, you know what this means. It comes without the burning/cold feeling of those types of products, but I could feel my muscles reacting the same. Same kind of response that comes after a stretch or massage therapy session, like the tight and sore feeling is just being released. It’s not instant relief if you’re sore, but it definitely does help with feeling of recovery. I could see how it would be really nice at night (those nights I just lay in bed and my legs feel like they weigh a million pounds and I never want to move again…)I wish the packaging were a bit easier to get into and the cream was either thicker or would absorb fully. The film left behind makes it hard for me to use at night because my nighttime routine usually means I get straight into bed, and I won’t be able to with this. You’ll have to plan ahead in a way that doesn’t involve “apply cream and go to bed!”
