The HeadBlade was designed for a single function–make head shaving easy. We accomplished this by following a couple of simple design principles:
The user had to be able to shave by feel. In other words, the razor had to sit close to the head.The razor needed two contact points to create a ‘suspension’ allowing the blade to automatically pivot and follow the contour of the head.
How did we get our start?
The original HeadBlade was designed in 1997 by Todd Greene out of necessity. He had been suffering for years with the traditional stick razor, and felt there had to be a better way.

The bold, new design was quickly adopted and became one of TIME magazine’s “Best Inventions of the Year” in 2000.

HeadLube Matte has a nice dull finish, knocking down the classic “Shiny Head” that us bald folk are known for.
This stuff is different from your average aftershave lotion. It’s paraben, perfume, and dye free, and is made with all the best stuff for your skin, like aloe and tea tree oil.
HeadLube Matte is Non-Comedogenic, which is a long and fancy word for it doesn’t clog your pores, keeping your head healthy & hydrated – without the acne (yuck).

Best thing I’ve bought in a while!
Feels good, definitely cuts shine a little, and worth every penny. Maybe the scent could be improved? It doesn’t smell like anything of note which is a plus sometimes but sometimes a nice scent might be a cool thing.It does it’s job spectacularly though and thus it’s hard to ask for more.

Takes away all shine from scalp
Worth its weight in gold. I had a whole scalp micro pigmentation procedure done and just a very small amount of this product cools the scalp as well as taking away all the shine and making it look so much more natural. I will be a life long customer and supporter.

Feel good and smells good
Doesn’t do much for cutting down the shine but I have found that except my wife’s finishing powder, that she puts on her face, nothing does. But who wants to cover their SMP up, that you paid $3000 for, with powder. I am giving it 4 stars because it feel refreshing when you put it on and it smells good. I think it will make my SMP last longer but I will have to ask my hairless dresser when I get their this December for a refresher head job what he thinks. I have had my SMP for 2 years now and love it. People always guess me at least 10 years younger and they threaten to card me to get any of my senior special prices.

It’s okay.
The head lotion is okay. It’s runny and takes forever to disperse around my head even with a small amount. If it’s not spread out well it’ll leave white streaks. It almost feels like applying centaphil on my scalp. The lotion does make my scalp feel moisturized and smell good.

Love the smell of the product and the consistency. Goes on easy and dries quickly with no shine on my head. It is one of my go to products that I use regularly. I’ve tried probably 20 products since shaving my head and this is in my top 5 rotation right now.

I love the quality and moisturising effectiveness.Definitely not cheap but extremely effective at keeping the shine down.I think this will last forever in this size as I only use it once a week when I shave my head, maybe in the summer I’ll wish I had a bigger tube but for now the size is perfect and will last

I’m glad I found this product. Bought the matte version to reduce head glare.I apply it after I shave my head and shower and it absorbs in about 5 minutes and keeps my head from looking dry and flaky. Minty smell is apparent but not too strong and doesn’t last. This is now a part of my daily regimen, I use it even when I don’t shave my head since showering makes my head dry.I wish they made a size below 100 ml so I could travel with it.
