I use this for my son’s hair! He has really nice hair so I like to make sure it’s well taken care of. He is mixed with African American, Mexican, and Caucasian so his hair is curly and he likes to keep it long it’s important for me to get a strong curl cream that has many good qualities. For me this protects his hair and keeps it moisturized without weighing down his curls or making them crunchy, that being said a little goes a long way and if you add too much it will get those white flakes on the scalp so don’t over apply. It’s thick so distribute it evenly and focus on the curl patterns rather then the thickness, I have come to find that using really small amounts and focusing on the curls does better then just grabbing a big amounts and rubbing it all over. I have curly hair myself but my mom didn’t know how to do my hair so these are things I learned as I grew up and wish I knew. I think it does add shine, but if you are like my son if you sleep rather restless after night 2 it’s gonna need a touch up because the frizz will start to happen. I am very happy with the product for smelling nice, providing hold and curl definition, being affordable and lasting awhile I usually buy two jars at once and my sons hair wash days vary between every other day to 3 days and they last me about 4 months but keep in mind he does not have a sensitive scalp so I am not sure on how this product would be with that case and I honestly apply it really thin on his top layer to avoid the flakes that have happened from over applying in the past.

“If you have curly or wavy hair, you have to try the Cantu Shampoo and Conditioner Bundle! I have curly hair and have always struggled with dryness and frizz. Since I started using these products, I’ve noticed a huge difference.What I like most is that they are sulfate-free, which is very important for my hair type, as sulfates tend to dry out hair. Shea butter, which is one of the main ingredients, has done wonders for my hair, leaving it super moisturized and soft.The shampoo cleanses really well without drying out, and the conditioner detangles my hair easily, which saves me a lot of time. My curls are more defined and less frizzy, which is a huge win for me!Plus, the value for money is great! Excellent. You get a good amount of product for a reasonable price.If I had to mention one negative, it would be that the shampoo doesn’t lather very well, but that doesn’t affect its cleansing ability.

Worth a try, strong “tropical” scent
This would be five stars except for one key issue. When I wear this, I smell like I’m on the beach, smothered in Hawaiian Tropic Tanning oil, sipping a pina colada – the scent does NOT dissipate through the day. The scent smells ok, I like the beach, but as a guy, I prefer products with no scent. As a styling product, it’s great. My 3C curls stay thick and curly while being somewhat “tamed.” If it weren’t for the scent, this WOULD be my go-to styling product. For the cost, it’s fantastic. One jar would last me 5+ months if I used it every day. For the cost and results, it’s worth a try.

I love this stuff. I use it on my coarse wavy hair and it helps hold in my curls. If you use a tiny bit it does not make her hair look greasy. I use it on my freshly washed wet hair and my hair comes out soft with some hold. I think it’s a good value. Good quality product.

I used my Cantu cream for the first time today and am really impressed with how my hair turned out. Full of volume and nice and wavy, curly! Better than when I use other products like moose or gel.

Worth a try
I like Cantu for my curls as it does not leave a white residue. It does feel stiff when dry but it locks out humidity. I do think it weighs the hair down and is why I do not use it every day anymore. I think it is pricey in the store but more reasonable here. You would have to try it and determine if it is good for your hair type. I think my son has a better grade of hair than me and the product gives me better curls. The product is slippery when washing out in the shower.
