Pre-shave powder sticks derma bloc are pure, natural powder sticks for gentle skin care while shaving. Protects against irritation and coats individual hairs to help them stand apart from your skin and allow easy cutting from your electric shaver. Simply apply to a clean, dry face and spread evenly, but sparingly. Has a very light fragrance. Made in Switzerland. A little goes a long way with derma bloc unscented preshave powder stick, use only sparingly on a clean and dry face. Rub lightly over the whiskers, gently rub or pat in in and then immediately shave it off. Try not to use too much and avoid using on a wet or damp face. It will not damage your electric shaver. Good for women too! Gently rub across the skin to be electric shaved or epilated. Shave and then use a healing balm to soothe the area. If being used with a woman’s shaver, apply the same way to legs or underarms and immediately shave off. A little more product might be needed when shaving legs.

Reasonable price, good result
This powder works great for me. It’s a little softer stick than the Eltron Shave Stick and the Remington Facesaver, but the Eltron and the Remington have become so expensive, that they’re not worth it. This one is much more reasonable. I am just careful to use a very light touch so I don’t waste it.

Many reasons to love this product.
Well, I don’t really “love it”, but then again I don’t really love shaving to begin with. So, why the 5-stars? I’ve tried many different electric pre-shave preparations – including gels, oils, UNO (a mix of powder starch in a liquid medium), creams, lotions and soaps. I was using UNO for quite some years until one day they ran out of it on Amazon. I ordered this Blocmen Pre-shave on the off chance that it would work if I mixed it with some water (I actually tried witch hazel too). It did work that way but then I found that it worked even better applied dry, like the directions say.What’s so good about it?1. It actually works as advertised – giving you a smooth electric shave.2. It has virtually no scent – something hard to find in any shaving product.3. It’s very inexpensive per application – only a fraction of the cost of UNO for example.What I’ve discovered:1. Apply a stroke at a time and immediately rub it into your beard. This reduces its tendency to fall off and rain powder all over the place – a complaint I’ve read in other reviews.3. Follow up after shaving with medicated witch hazel – aah!

Worthless Product
Don’t buy this product. It breaks apart too easily and was a crumbly mess inside the plastic sleeve. I returned it.

Dissapointed in received condition
Was looking for a replacement for Remington Face Saver which I used for many years and was discontinued. Much more expensive than what I was paying for Face Saver. Product is about the same and works well. My low rating is due to the condition of the product receieved. The packaging was not damaged, but when I opened the stick the top 1/2 inch was broken and crumbled, and wasted. Don’t know where or how this happened, but this is too expensive to have that much wasted. I would recommend this product if you can get it undamaged.

Overpriced, but great product
I used bloc men when it was sold at Macy’s NY on the 7th floor many years ago. They stopped selling it. I bought a few similar brands and then for some strange reason every brand kept raising their prices unreasonably. I was surprised to find the company still in business and on Amazon now and I tried them again. It is good as it always was. Still the price of theirs is also extremely high which may be due to website commissions. It is a necessity to own this type of product for men that use electric shavers. Blocmen as well as the other brands that I have tried all have worked well. I will continue to buy the one that has the best price at the time of need. It doesnt seem that any are better ot worse than the competitors. If you use an electruc shaver and are looking at this one and never used anything like it before, then you must try it. It miraculously changes your shave.

A good close shave
You can actually get a good close shave with an electric razor. This stuff feels really good when you apply it and it makes your electric razor work better than ever. Helps keep your face from be irritated from shaving and did I mention that it feels good too. A little bit goes a long way so it’s also a good value. Solid 5/5

Hard stick powder
Product is too hard powder does not come off the stick easily, very hard to apply it’s either old or poorly manufactured, not a good product! Almost next touseless! You should be able to apply easily to your face!Would not recommend!Remington stick powder price is now raised to like $45 for one little stick these people are insane used to get it for $9-$10
