Last thing I need is my shaving cream scent mucking with after shave mucking with whatever cologne I decide to go with.TWO) The gel is VERY easy to use. Its transparent nature offers visibility, which is a huge mega bonus, especially when I’m using my safety razor (long handle with butterfly open). It allows for precise shaving, ensuring I get the perfect trim every time.THREE) One of the most significant advantages is that it doesn’t irritate my skin. The soothing aloe vera and cooling menthol work wonders in preventing any post-shave irritation.FOUR) As someone with a beard, maintaining its shape and clean lines is crucial. This is great. If you like a shave gel. This have great scent and is a very good shave.

Works fairly well, but you need to use a lot of it
I bought this to use with my head shaver, but the first time I tried it, it seemed to actually make my shaver move less freely over my head. That was probably my fault, as I just used a little bit. The next time I tried it, I used a more generous amount, and it worked a little better. I used it for my neck and it seems to work well for that.

Excellent & cheaper than Tomb45
I have used electric shavers & safety razors over more than 65 years of shaving. I’ve read the reviews on this product, including the negative ones, so let me tell you why this is a 5 star product.First, to answer some of the negative reviews, which I humbly suggest are written without knowing much about what you need in a shaving gel:1. I heard complaints that it doesn’t foam. It’s not supposed to (read the description) & you don’t need foam. All you need is something that softens the whiskers (like a hot wet washcloth) & lets the safety razor glide smoothly. A clear gel lets you see what you’re shaving.2. Someone said it comes off in water…well, yes eventually, how else would you get it off. Yes, the razor takes most of it off, but I always use cold water afterward to close the pores (you can also use after shave).Pro:1. Basically, a small amount covers you face, goes on quickly, & lets the razor slide smoothly for a close shave without irritating the skin.2. It has aloe, which is good for sensitive skin.3. As far as scent, it’s fine, but you can always use after shave.P.S. I used Tomb 45 twice before, which is almost identical, but costs $10 + tax for 8 oz.. This is $10 + tax for 10 oz.
