Favorite Haircare
Love this shampoo and conditioner! I have fine, slightly curly hair and heavy products will pull the curl out. This duo is perfect! No build up and great on my hair. Light refreshing smell, leaves my hair soft and full whether I straighten or wear natural.

Alright, stay with me. I’m 5’7 with an average-length torso, and my hair is down to my waist. Box dyed for 16 years. Fine, thin. Wash daily. Okay. I’m also a cheapskate with everything but hair products. I used to be a Moroccanoil fan, but after a house fire that destroyed two brand new bottles that cost me $180, I couldn’t bring myself to spend more than $20 since then.Until now. I don’t know who recommended Ghost to me, but I ignored them for a while. My hair started to feel unhealthy so I said screw it, I’m worth it. I went for the big bottles and I was so excited.Day 1: After styling my hair like normal, my hair was SO DRY. It felt like straw. Like worse than it has in years. Like a Dementor said he was tired of happiness and sucked all the moisture out of my hair instead.Day 2: Same thing. It was terrible. I wept over the waste of $80 and almost gave up, but I told myself to trust the process. Just one more day.Day 3: Miracles.When I tell you that after two days of this stuff seemingly ruining my hair, it was reborn again like Jesus himself. I’m on week 3 now and I’ve never loved my hair more. It’s so soft that my husband literally cannot keep his hands off of it. It’s shiny, healthy, isn’t falling out, and it’s so much easier to style.Trust the process indeed.The only reason I deducted a half a star is because the scent is terrible. The shampoo smells awful, the conditioner is only slightly better. It’s faint enough that the other products I use post-shower cover it up, but for such a phenomenal product, I can’t believe it doesn’t at least smell… like something better than whatever it is.Anyway; try it. And if it sucks for the first couple of days, stick with it. It’s worth it.

Great shampoo
This shampoo makes my hair very smooth and clean looking and feeling. I have rather thin hair and it makes my hair a bit thicker looking. Nice scent also. I really like this shampoo.

Good for thick hair
I have thin, fine hair and bought this shampoo & conditioner for me, but it was too drying for my hair. I gave it to my teenage daughters who have thick, long hair and they love it. They have trouble finding good shampoo that doesn’t make their hair feel heavy and greasy. This shampoo & conditioner feels very light weight to them – it seems to cut the grease and it rinses out easily.

Awesome for delicate hair!
This is the only shampoo I use on my middle aged, fine, processed and PCOS hair. It’s gentle. Cleans well. Limited fragrance. My hair dresser was very impressed when I first switched to this.

Not for dry hair
If you have dry thin hair this isn’t for you. I loved that my hair was not weighed down or greasy but it was so drying I had to add so much hair oil to counteract it. I lost a lot of hair from breakage the two weeks I used it. Also the smell is odd? Smells like plastic, flowers and citrus. Just not for me I guess.

My go to hair care products
I love this set of shampoo and conditioner. I have super fine and straight hair and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy or greasy. Highly recommend for people of my hair type. It might not be great if you need a crazy amount of moisturization though.

I have shoulder length thick hair so if shampoo not right then my hair is a disaster, it does wash nice and conditioner does work, alas my hair was getting greasy after couple of days ( unusual for me) now I apply conditioner to length and not scalp and that has worked so far, that’s why only 3 stars my hair feels nice not great
